Gabdullin Gets Paid with a Flush
Level 28
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Tamas Barbarics opened 1,200,000 under the gun, and only Damir Gabdullin called in the hijack.
Both players checked to the 6♦4♥2♠4♦5♦ river, where Barbarics checked once more. Gabdullin fired a bet of 3,000,000 across the line, putting Barbarics to a tough decision.
After about 20 seconds, Barbarics dropped a chip across the line to make the call.
Gabdullin instantly rolled his K♦Q♦ face-up, making a flush on the river, and Barbarics mucked his hand.
