Schwaederle Cracks Aces

Level 5 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Cedric Schwaederle was seen pulling in a pot after he managed to crack the aces of Dai Ishibashi.

It seemed like the chips went into the middle on the K109 flop with Schwaederle's 63,500 at risk.

Cedric Schwaederle: 99 All in
Dai Ishibashi: AA

Schwaederle had binked his set and held onto the lead as the 82 runout changed nothing.

Cotescu Loses a Pot, Gromov Has Chips

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Sandra Cotescu just lost a small pot and her stack dwindled to around 100,000.

On a flop of 10J6, Cotescu check-called a bet of 7,000 from the button to the 8 turn. Again Cotescu checked, but this time she folded after the button bet 15,000.

On the same table is Merit Poker powerhouse Dmitry Gromov, who has built an early stack of around 350,000 as the first break approaches.

Generalov Makes Quads

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Ehsan Amiri, Denis Vitchenko, and Konstantin Generalov had all put in 25,000 preflop to see a flop of 9410, which checked around to Generalov in the cutoff. Generalov fired 40,000, Amiri folded from under the gun, and Vitchenko called in the hijack.

On the 10 turn, Vitchenko led for 55,000 and Generalov called to see the K river. Vitchenko then immediately shoved for around 100,000, and Generalov snap-called

Vitchenko revealed KQ for top pair, but that was no good as Generalov rolled over quads with 1010!
