Zhang Bets Cotescu Out

Congya Zhang raised to 10,000 under the gun with only Sandra Cotescu calling from the big blind.

After the dealer spread out the flop of 9♣8♣5♠, Cotescu check-called a bet of 11,000 from Zhang.

The turn came the 6♦ and Cotescu check-called another bet from Zhang, this time for 32,000.

Cotescu checked for the last time upon seeing the A♥ hit the river. Zhang fired a big bet of around 150,000 and Cotescu quickly folded.

Martinovic Also Falls to Istomin

After some earlier action in a small pot, Dragoljub Martinovic committed his stack of 104,000 from the big blind on the 3♦2♠5♦ flop. Aleksei Istomin weighed his options for a while before making a call and taking it to showdown.

Corral Puts Ahuja Into Tank

Juan Corral under the gun and Ankit Ahuja in the cutoff had built a pot of 150,000 when they arrived at a A♣2♠3♠10♥A♦ river. Corral then pushed all in, covering the 107,000 chips of Ahuja.

Ahuja went deep into the tank, spending nearly all of his time banks. Eventually, Ahuja tossed his cards into the muck as the pot was shipped to his opponent.

After it checked to Pateychuk on the Q♣J♥10♣ flop, he fired out a bet of 22,000. The big blind player stuck around with a call.

The 5♣ turn and 6♦ river checked through. The big blind player showed ace-high with A♥7♣ and lost the pot to Pateychuk's Q♠9♥ for a pair of queens.

Four players saw the dealer put out a flop of 2♠9♥Q♥, where everyone checked to see the 6♠ land on the turn. Chady Ojeil was first to act from the small blind and led out for 35,000. He only found one call from the hijack player.

Ojeil fired out a bet of 90,000 on the K♣ river. The bet was enough to win Ojeil the pot as his opponent folded.
