Raoul Kanme opened to 1,000,000 under the gun and Italo Modena three-bet to 4,000,000 out of the small blind. Kanme four-bet ripped it for 17,000,000 and Modena snap-called.

Kanme jammed it in at the wrong time, but he did have a hand that had a lot of potential. The flop came K♥9♠4♦ to give Kanme a gutshot. The 6♠ turn meant only a queen on the river could save Kanme. But the 2♥ came, and Kanme was out in 20th.

Dukic had his tournament life on the line and stayed in the lead after the Q♠J♦A♣ flop. A 5♣ on the turn gave Dukic two pair and removed some of Heredi's outs.

However, the K♣ on the river completed Heredi's straight, meaning Dukic was eliminated.

Hashim knuckled the table on the 9♠9♣K♠ flop, and Modena made a continuation-bet of 600,000. Hashim stuck around with a call.

When the 7♣ dropped on the turn, Hashim led out for 1,400,000. Modena raised to 4,000,000, which Hashim called.

The 3♠ appeared on the river and the action checked through. Hashim showed Q♦Q♣ to take down the pot, as Modena mucked A♣J♥ for ace-high.

Last May, Azamat Lamkov became the newest $5,300 Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event champion as he defeated a massive field of 1,260 entries at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel.

Fifth in chips at the beginning of the final table, Lamkov made his way to first place, surpassing players like Mihai Niste (6th, $170,000) and Leon Sturm (3rd, $440,000). Ultimately, Lamkov claimed victory over Kirill Shcherbakov, who finished in second for $680,000. Thanks to this win, Lamkov is not only the proud owner of a trophy, but he's also a millionaire with the $1,000,000 first-place prize.

Alexandros Kolonias opened to 1,000,000 on the button and Daniel Thaller called from the big blind.

On the 3♥9♣J♦ flop, Thaller checked and Kolonias fired 800,000. Thaller then check-raised, Kolonias snap-shoved for 19,000,000, and Thaller snap-called!

Out of nowhere, there was a 40,000,000 + chip pot up for grabs and Thaller was in the driving seat to take it all!

Trickett was an underdog and despite making a pair of nines on the 8♣J♠9♠ flop, Tamasian paired his jack to retain the lead. Though Trickett regained the lead when the K♥ hit turn, giving him two pair.

Just as it seemed like the drama was over, Tamasian improved to two pair on the A♦ river, which meant Trickett was out in 22nd.
