Alessandro Pichierri raised to 40,000 in early position before Jakub Michalak three-bet to 140,000 in the small blind. Pichierri burned through a few of his time banks before moving all in for around 550,000 and Michalak snap-folded.
The pace of play has slowed considerably with the money bubble approaching. Michel Habib even suggested that play should go hand-for-hand now instead of waiting for one more elimination.
Daniel Henriques raised to 40,000 in the cutoff before Halil Tasyurek three-bet to 150,000 in the small blind. Henriques called and they saw a flop of J♦9♥6♠.
Tasyurek continued for 75,000 and Henriques called. Both players then checked the 5♥ turn.
The river was the 5♦ and action was again checked through. Tasyurek showed A♣10♣, but Henriques had 8♥8♣ to win the pot.
At another table, Jenya Gavrilovich recently doubled up for around 400,000 after winning a race against Rachid El-Yaacoubi with pocket sevens.
Huseyin Akgul raised to 50,000 in early position before Andrei Spataru three-bet to 100,000 in the hijack. Akgul paused for around 30 seconds before moving all in for 170,000 and Spataru snap-called.

Akgul had woken up with aces and was a big favorite to double up until the flop brought 7♣K♥Q♠ to give Spataru top set. The rest of the board came J♣9♣ and Akgul was eliminated.

Dawid Smolka and Marcin Dziubdziela went to the river in a blind versus blind battle and the board showing 7♠10♣Q♣7♦9♦.
Dziubdziela then bet 90,000 from the big blind and Smolka tanked for a minute before calling. Dziubdziela showed K♦Q♠ for two pair and Smolka mucked.
Michel Habib raised to 35,000 in the cutoff before Florian Guimond moved all in for 91,000 in the small blind. Habib called to put Guimond at risk.

The flop came 3♠7♠3♣ to give Habib a flush draw. "One more," he pleaded with the dealer, and he got his wish on the 6♠ turn.
Guimond needed another spade to stay alive but missed the 4♦ river as he was sent to the rail.
Heads-up on a flop of K♣A♣6♠, Rachid El-Yaacoubi bet 55,000 from the cutoff and Dmitrii Kuzin called in the big blind.
The turn was the 4♥ and El-Yaacoubi bet another 137,000. Kuzin then moved all in for around 400,000 and El-Yaacoubi quickly folded.
"Show sixes," El-Yaacoubi pleaded with Kuzin, who instead flashed an ace as he took the pot.
Yuliyan Kolev was recently eliminated to bring the field down to 21 players.
Milad Oghabian was down to his last 76,000 and moved all in from the cutoff. Milos Skrbic called in the small blind.
