Vinayagamoorthy Shows Ivanov a Set; Adrianapoulos Finishes Off Erman
Level 6
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Heads-up on a board of 2♥10♥8♥4♠, Aleksandr Ivanov bet 16,000 from middle position and David Vinayagamoorthy called under the gun.
The river was the 5♠ and Vinayagamoorthy led out for 10,000. Ivanov called, then mucked when Vinayagamoorthy showed 8♣8♦ for a set of eights.
At the same time at another table, Nejat Erman got his last 20,000 in the middle, again with A♠K♠, but Sakis Adrianapoulos spiked a set holding 9♥9♣ on a board of J♦6♠9♦5♠8♥ to send Erman to the rail.
