Toskic Shows an Opponent the Nuts

Fadil Toskic and an opponent built a pot of around 30,000 as they went heads-up to a flop of 2♥8♣7♠. The cutoff then bet 7,000 and Toskic called in the big blind.

The turn was the Q♦ and the cutoff bet another 17,000. Toskic came back with a raise to 35,000 and his opponent tanked for a minute before folding.

"Good fold," Toskic said, showing Q♣Q♠ for top set.

"I had jacks. You made it easy for me. Why don't you just call? Maybe a jack comes on the river," his opponent said as Toskic took the pot.

Around 25,000 was in the pot as four players went to the turn on a board of 3♦9♣J♦4♥. Joseph Houayek then bet 5,000 in middle position, a player in the cutoff called, and Timur Kurbanov also called on the button.

Antoine Hasbani raised to 38,000 in the small blind and only Kurbanov called. The river was the 2♥ and Hasbani moved all in for 55,000. Kurbanov called and Hasbani turned over Q♦Q♥.

Kurbanov went to muck before Hasbani asked that his cards be shown. The dealer retrieved 9♠6♠ from the muck and slid the massive pot over to Hasbani.

With around 10,000 in the pot on a board of 6♣K♣A♠10♣, Fredrico Senno bet 7,500 from early position before Milad Souderjani raised to 18,000 in the small blind.

Senno came back with a reraise to 57,500 and Souderjani moved all in for around 95,000. Senno called with K♦Q♣ for a pair and straight and flush draws, but Souderjani had 8♣5♣ for a flush.

The river was the 9♠ and Senno failed to improve as he was sent to the rail as the first elimination of the day.

The turn was the A♠ and Nikishov bet another 4,000. Aziz again called and the 7♠ fell on the river. Nikishov then bet 5,000.

Aziz called and Nikishov turned over A♣J♠ for two pair. Aziz mucked and Nikishov took down one of the first pots of the day.
