Damir Zhugralin put his last 6,000 into the middle from early position and Anthony Khouzami three-bet to 13,000 from middle position. Andrei Konopelko four-bet to 41,500 from the blinds and Khouzami five-bet shoved to put Konopelko all in. Konopelko had roughly 140,000 remaining in his stack, and after a few moments, made the call to put himself at risk.

Khouzami had both of his opponents easily covered and just had to fade a disastrous runout to add even more chips to his stack.
The runout came 5♦4♠4♥J♥9♦, which meant Khouzami's two queens stayed ahead the entire time. Zhugralin and Konopelko were out, and the pot was sent to Khouzami.
The action was picked up with around 40,000 chips in the pot on a 7♦Q♠6♠ flop where Georges Chehade checked from under the gun and Dmitry Gromov bet 9,000 in middle position. Chehade called.
Both saw the J♦ land on the turn and again Chehade went into check-call mode after Gromov bet 32,000.
When the 4♠ fell on the river, Chehade went into the tank and after around a minute, he checked. Gromov then went into deep though and concluded that a bet of 60,000 was the right option. After some more time, Chehade called.
Gromov then showed two pair with J♥6♥, and Chehade mucked.
Florian Ribouchon raised to 4,000 from early position before Marc Foggin three-bet to 13,500 from the hijack. Vladislav Ivanov cold four-bet the button to 35,000, and Yassin Mahmoud five-bet shoved for 89,000 out of the big blind. Ribouchon folded, but Foggin shoved over the top to put Ivanov all in. Ivanov instantly called for his 170,500 chips and the cards were revealed.

It was a bit of a cooler in Ivanov's favor, as he looked poised to more than double up with two kings. The 3♥9♠5♠ flop did give Mahmoud a flush draw. However, the rest of the board ran out 4♥2♦, which was clean for Ivanov's Cowboys. Ivanov more than doubled up, Mahmoud was out, and Foggin was left on fumes.
Carmen Zainescu just took a small hit to her stack after she paid off a river bet from Andrei Daniliuk.
Daniliuk had opened from middle position and Zainescu called from the cutoff to see a flop of 7♣Q♥5♦. where Daniliuk continued for 8,000 and Zainescu called.
When the 10♠ hit the turn, both players opted to check to see the 4♠ land on the river, where Daniliuk fired 27,000. Zainescu mulled it over for a while and eventually did flick in the call.
Daniliuk then showed top two pair with Q♠10♥, and Zainescu mucked.
One of the biggest pots of the day was recalled to PokerNews. Mikalai Vaskaboinikau opened the button to 5,500 and Konstantin Voronin three-bet the small blind to 16,000. Vaskaboinikau then four-bet to 65,000, and Voronin called.
They saw a flop of J♦8♦5x where Voronin led out for 60,000. then Vaskaboinikau shoved his stack of around 250,000 into the middle. Voronin called for slightly less.

Voronin had lost a chunk of his starting stack but had two chances to win it all back and would do so if he could find a six or a diamond on the runout. The Russian player only needed one attempt as the K♦ turn gave him the nut flush, which left Vaskaboinikau drawing dead.
Shortly after, Vaskaboinikau got his last 22,000 in the middle and couldn't spin up a stack, meaning he hit the rail and Voronin had his stack back.
With the board showing A♥5♥2♠, Damir Gabdullin checked from the big blind and Ran Ilani bet 8,000 from the cutoff. Gabdullin check-raised to 27,500, which Ilani called.
Gabdullin shoved for Ilani's remaining 55,000 when the K♠ landed on the turn and Ilani snap-called.

Gabdullin was drawing dead with top pair against Ilani's flopped set. The A♦ river improved Ilani to an unnecessary full house and the pot was sent to Ilani.
Soraya Estrada just raked in another small pot which pushed her stack toward the half-million mark.
Estrada opened from early position and got a call from the small blind and Grigorii Rodin in the big blind. When the flop came 4♥A♣10♦, the action checked to Estrada, who bet 5,500. The small blind called, and Rodin folded.
Both checked the K♣ turn to the 7♥ river, where the small blind checked and Estrada bet 7,500. This was enough to earn Estrada the pot as her opponent folded, and her stack continued its climb upwards.
Nichan Khorchidian made a full house and increased the pot size on every street to boost his stack up to around 150,000.
Atanas Malinov had raised from middle position and Khorchidian defended the big blind to see a flop of 6♠2♦2♣. where he check-called a bet of 4,000 from Malinov.
A 6♦ hit the turn and Khorchidian led out for 7,000, which Malinov called to see the 8♦ drop on the river. Khorchidian grabbed more chips and threw 32,000 of them into the pot, and again Malinov called.
Khorchidian then revealed a turned full house that improved on the river with 8♥6♣, and Malinov quickly mucked.
