Both players checked the 6♣4♠5♠ flop to see the J♣ land on the turn. Smolka checked, and Lodden quickly fired out a bet of 600,000. Smolka called.
Smolka checked again on the 9♣ river and Lodden bet 1,500,000. After using a few time extensions, Smolka shoved to put Lodden all in.
Lodden had around 6,700,000 behind and went deep into the tank. He burnt through four of his time extensions before tossing his cards into the muck, and Smolka extended his chip lead.
