The remaining 60 players are heading on a 15-minute break.
Alexander Sokolovsky hadn't been seated for long, but was already up on his feet and heading to reenter!
There was a flop of 4♦4♠J♥ on the table when Sokolovsky bet 2,000 from the cutoff before Radovan Savic made it 6,000 on the button. Sokolovsky called.
A 5♦ on the turn saw Sokolovsky check-call a bet of 8,000 from Savic to the 8♦ river, where again Sokolovsky checked. Savic then shoved, and Sokolovsky snap-called for his remaining chips.
Sokolovsky quickly turned over a flush with K♦10♦, but that was no good as Savic had turned a full house with 5♠5♣!
Paul Grummitt and Batraz Tigiev have clashed multiple times so far on Day 1a. The latest encounter saw Grummitt rake in a small pot.
Tigiev opened to 1,400 from under the gun and Grummitt called from the next seat. The big blind also came along and when the flop came 4♠J♥Q♣, Tigiev bet 2,100. Grummitt called and the big blind folded.
A 6♣ hit the turn and Tigiev slowed down with a check, only for Grummitt to fire 2,100. That was enough to win the pot as Tigiev let it go. Despite that setback, Tigiev is up to around 80,000.
Is there a big pot on the horizon between these two?

Seyedali Hosseinirami and Daniil Pokinsokha both just added to their stacks, as they knocked out a player each on adjacent tables simultaneously.
First, Hosseinirami had bet 6,600 from the button on a board of K♦3♦8♣, which his opponent called. When the 5♣ dropped on the turn, the rest of the chips got in the middle, with Hosseinirami's A♠K♣ in the lead against his opponent's 8♦7♦.
The 10♥ river bricked out, and Hosseinirami's stack rose to around 100,000.
On the next table, Pokinsokha had a short stack all in and covered with a better hand.
Hijack: A♣2♣
Daniil Pokinsokha: A♦K♦
The board of K♠7♣8♥8♣6♠ brought no surprises, and Pokinsokha added some valuble chips to his stack.
Batraz Tigiev just took a hit to his stack, which has left him a little short.
On a flop that read 2♠10♣3♦, the big blind checked and Tigiev bet 2,500. Paul Grummitt called from the next seat, and the big blind also called.
When the 8♠ turn hit, it checked to Tigiev, who fired out 5,100 this time. Grummitt got out of the way before the big blind raised to 10,500. With around 15,000 behind, Tigiev elected to lay his hand down.
