Seeing an under-the-gun raise to 5,000 ahead of him, Seref Anar three-bet to 15,000 from the cutoff. Elie Farah then put in a four-bet to 30,000 on the button, which only Anar called.
Anar opted to lead out on the 5♠2♥5♦ flop, betting 20,000, but snap-folded when Farah moved all in for around 70,000.
Sergey Voronin raised to 5,000 from under the gun and picked up two callers before Gerardo Ulloa squeezed to 23,500 on the button. Kadir Altinbasak cold-called in the big blind, and Voronin also came along, while the other two players got out of the way.
The three players saw a monotone 3♥9♥6♥ flop. Altinbasak checked, and Voronin bet 50,000. Both Ulloa and Altinbasak folded, allowing Voronin to pull in the pot after revealing the flopped second-nut flush with K♥2♥.

Lev Voronin raised to 5,500 in the hijack, which Zoja Fleischer called in the cutoff. Anton Danilov then three-bet to 20,000 on the button. When the action folded back to Voronin, he four-bet shoved for roughly 160,000. Fleischer quickly folded, and, after a little bit of consideration, Danilov followed suit and returned his cards to the dealer.
Traian Stanciu raised on the button, and Seref Anar three-bet to 16,500 from the small blind. Stanciu came back with a four-bet to 46,000, and Anar stuck around with a call.
Both players saw the 10♥10♣K♠ flop, where Anar checked. Stanciu decided to fire a continuation-bet of 25,000, which proved enough to get Anar to fold.
Hassan Nashar raised to 8,000 from the hijack, and Ivan Ilichev and Natan Chauskin called from the blinds.
The J♣8♥4♦ flop checked to Nashar, and he fired a continuation-bet of 12,000. Ilichev called and Chauskin folded.
The A♥ turn checked through before the 3♦ completed the board. Ilichev checked for the final time, and Nashar bet 42,000. Ilichev tank-called, and Nashar instantly mucked, allowing Ilichev to pull in the pot without having to show.
Pavel Shchitnikov raised to 5,500 under the gun, which Ruslan Volkov called on the button before both players in the blinds joined in.
The action checked to Volkov on a 2♦2♥3♥ flop, who bet 11,000. Both players in the blinds folded, but Shchitnikov check-called.
Shchitnikov checked for a second time on the 4♠ turn, and when Volkov assembled a bet and moved the chips into the middle, Shchitnikov had folded his hand before the bet was even in the pot.
Mihai Trofim raised to 5,000 under the gun, which the player on the button called before Hulya Seckin moved all in blind for 9,000 from the big blind. Trofim then four-bet to 20,000, which forced the button player out.

The 9♥J♥5♠ flop was bad news for Seckin, whose fate was confirmed when the 9♠ hit the turn. The J♠ improved Trofim to a full house, as Seckin hit the rail.
Zekerriya Nizam raised to 7,500 from middle position before Guy Gorelik three-bet to 22,000 from the next seat over. Action folded back to Nizam, who moved all in, covering Gorelik's remaining stack of around 80,000.
Gorelik took some time before making his decision.
"I don't think I can fold," he said before eventually putting his chips into the middle.

Gorelik had made the correct call and found himself in excellent shape with the superior pocket pair.
The K♥2♦4♦ flop kept him firmly in front, although the K♦ turn gave Nizam additional outs in the form of a flush draw. The 5♦ river completed the unlikely comeback, sending Gorelik to the rail during the early stages of Day 2.
Carlos Cadavid opened to 5,500 in the cutoff, which Aleksandr Chernikov called from the button before the big blind came along too.
All three players checked the K♠K♥6♦ flop, but when the big blind checked for a second time on the 3♠ turn, Cadavid bet 5,500. Chernikov called, and the big blind folded.
Cadavid fired another 11,000 into the pot on the A♣ river, and Chernikov called again before mucking when Cadavid tabled K♣9♦ for flopped trips.
