Clock Runs Out on Kaplanoglu

Level 5 : Blinds 700/1,500, 1,500 ante

Three-handed on a board of {9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Luc Bindel bet 5,600 and was called by Metin Kaplanoglu in the hijack. Damir Zhugralin, on the button, then raised to 25,000 and Bindel quickly folded.

Kaplanoglu, though, called to see the {q-Hearts} river. He checked over to Zhugralin, who slid forward a tower of chips to put Kaplanoglu all in for around 70,000.

Kaplanoglu tanked for several minutes as Zhugralin began stretching. The clock was eventually called, and Kaplanoglu allowed the count to reach zero before his hand was declared dead.

Altunok Cracks Aces to Send Sibgatova Out

Level 4 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Murat Altunok and Alisa Sibgatova just got involved in a massive pot that saw all their chips in the middle heading to the flop.

Alisa Sibgatova: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Murat Altunok: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Altunok had run into a big cooler and was about to hand over most of his stack before the {10-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop gave him top set. The {5-Spades}{4-Spades} turn and river were no help to Sibgatova.

The stacks were counted down and Sibgatova had around 120,000 remaining. Altunok barely had her covered and sent her to the rail, while he stacked up more than 300,000.

Pak Not Faring Better on Second Bullet

Level 4 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Valeriy Pak was forced to reenter after losing with kings versus aces earlier but is having no better luck on his second try in the tournament.

In his last hand, Pak called a three-bet of 6,200 from Liron Shapira as they went heads-up to a flop of {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Both players checked.

The turn came the {10-Clubs} and Pak checked again. Shapira, in the cutoff, came out with 7,000 this time and Pak quickly called.

The {j-Spades} fell on the river and Shapira bet another 15,000. Pak once again called as Shapira turned over {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for flopped trips that turned into a straight on the river. Pak mucked and has lost more than half his stack on his second bullet.

Gadzhiev Picks Up Kings to Double

Level 4 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Roman Gadzhiev got his last 58,000 in the middle from the hijack and was up against Junaid Anwer Jalal on the button.

Roman Gadzhiev: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Junaid Anwer Jalal: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Gadzhiev was a big favorite to double up but needed his kings to hold up against the top pair of Anwer Jalal. The board ran out {6-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Gadzhiev survived.

Luc Bindel

Heads-up on a board of {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}, Rashad Iskandarov bet 8,000 from the cutoff and Luc Bindel, in the hijack, called.

The river came the {q-Clubs} and Bindel moved all in for 19,300. Iskandarov snaped back in his seat and looked up toward the ceiling before announcing a call.

Bindel was forced to turn over {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a bluff, while Iskandarov had {j-Spades}{6-Spades} for a full house to send Bindel to the rail.

Mikhail Zamyatin

Valeriy Pak and Mikhail Zamyatin just tangled in a massive pot that ended with Pak hitting the rail and Zamyatin piling up the biggest stack in the room.

Pak had around 80,000 in his stack and got it all in with Zamyatin. He had {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}, but got the bad news when Zamyatin showed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}. The board ran out {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Zamyatin's aces stayed in front to win the pot and send Pak to the exit.
