Another Big Pair Goes Down as Madar Doubles Off Bogdanov

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Shmuel Madar was all in for 44,000 from the cutoff as action folded to Yulian Bogdanov in the big blind, who called to put him at risk.

Shmuel Madar: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Yulian Bogdanov: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board came {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Madar was one card away from elimination until the {j-Diamonds} fell on the river to give him a set and double up.

"Oh. One time," Madar said as he shot back in his chair at the sight of the rivered jack.

"Big pairs not winning today. Only little pairs," tablemate Ara Melkisetian said following the hand.

Aydemir Tilts Sarkis

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

With around 60,000 in the pot on a board of {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Recep Aydemir bet 58,000 from the button as Wael Sarkis in the cutoff went into the tank.

Sarkis eventually folded after about a minute and Aydemir flashed the {3-Clubs} as he took in the pot.

Sarkis leaned back in his seat and put his hands on his head. "I'm tilted now. I folded sevens. I folded a set," he said.

"I need a six to win," Aydemir replied.

"I'm tilted. I'm just going to fold all the hands from now," Sarkis continued.

Nurmuhammedov Spikes the River on Saad

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

A massive pot of around 180,000 was already in the middle on a board of {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs} when Parahat Nurmuhammedov, in early position, moved all in for 45,000.

Eli Saad on the button gave it some thought before he called. Nurmuhammedov turned over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} for rivered two pair and Saad flung his {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} into the middle of the table in frustration as Nurmuhammedov scooped the pot.

Ilani Cracks Kings to Send Out Abdelhadi

Ran Ilani

Action folded to Ahmad Abdelhadi on the button who raised to 30,000. Ran Ilani, in the small blind, moved all in and Abdelhadi called off his last 150,000.

Ahmad Abdelhadi: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Ran Ilani: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The flop came {q-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Spades}, giving Ilani some hope with a flush draw. He completed the flush on the {j-Spades} turn as Abdelhadi was left drawing dead heading to the {3-Hearts} river and was sent to the rail.

Aydemir Wakes Up With Aces

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Recep Aydemir, runner-up in the Merit Poker Western Series Warmup in January, moved all in from the small blind and was up against Denis Pisarev in early position.

Denis Pisarev: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Recep Aydemir: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

"Seat open," a tablemate called out as the board came {j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

"Deuce," Aydemir shouted heading to the river, which, while not a deuce, was the {7-Diamonds}, no help to Pisarev. The stacks were counted down and Pisarev had around 105,000 remaining, barely covered by Aydemir.

Katykhin All In Again, Busts This Time

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Mikhail Katykhin just found himself moving all in again, placing his last 60,000 in the middle along with his card protector, a figurine of the Spongebob character Sandy. Maher Nouira called to put him at risk.

Mikhail Katykhin: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Maher Nouira: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Katykhin was dominated heading to the flop. "Flush," he called for, and sure enough the {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop gave him a flush draw. The {a-Clubs} on the turn also gave him a straight draw, while Nouira made top pair.

The {9-Spades} on the river, though, was no help to Katykhin and he made his exit.

Moein's Stack Continuing to Grow

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Harald Sammer raised to 5,500 from middle position and was called by Luc Bindel next to act as action folded around to chip leader Ali Moein in the big blind. He tossed in a three-bet to 25,000.

"How much do you have left," Sammer joked as he got out of the way. Bindel, though, stuck around with a call.

"Seat open," Sammer said as the flop came {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Both players checked to the {7-Clubs} turn, when Moein again checked.

Bindel put out a bet of 37,000 before Moein took a few white 25,000 chips from his massive stack and raised to 125,000. Bindel quickly folded.

"Isn't it exhausting having to constantly build towers," Sammer asked Moein as he added to his stack.

"Give some back to the community," tablemate Gokhan Ozbek added.

Etim Fills Up to Bust Wenhua

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Zheng Wenhua was all in for around 60,000 from the small blind and up against Terence Etim in middle position.

Zheng Wenhua: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Terence Etim: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Etim had woken up with kings and improved to top set on the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop. Wenhua was looking to complete his straight draw but was left drawing dead when the {10-Clubs} on the turn gave Etim a full house.

The meaningless river came the {3-Diamonds} and the retired mixed martial artist collected the knockout.
