Just as players were heading off on break, Roman Gadzhiev bet 175,000 from the big blind on a board of {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} before Daniel Montagnolli shoved for around 900,000.

Gadzhiev went into the tank for a few minutes as he counted his stack before he eventually called. Montagnolli immediately stood up and turned over {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a bluff, while Gadzhiev had {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for two pair to send Montagnolli to the payout desk.

Khabbazeh Wins With His Favorite Hand

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action folded to Basel Khabbazeh in the small blind who raised to 400,000. Mikhail Zamyatin called in the big blind as they saw the flop come {3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Both players checked as the turn came the {q-Clubs}. They checked again before Khabbazeh led out for 500,000 on the {6-Spades} river.

Zamyatin quickly called and Khabbazeh showed {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for a pair of kings to win the hand.

"My favorite hand," he said as he collected the pot.

Heads-up on a board of {q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, Michael Uguccioni bet 230,000 from under the gun and Julien Loire called in the big blind.

The river came the {j-Spades} and both players checked. Loire showed {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for a pair of queens, but Uguccioni had {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for aces.

Alexandru Cinca
Alexandru Cinca

Kubanychbek Abakirov raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and was called by Boris Angelov on the button as action folded to Alexandru Cinca in the big blind. He shoved all in and Abakirov quickly folded.

"How much," Angelov asked.

"One million," Cinca said emphatically as he slammed his stack down on the table. "A little more, 1.1." Angelov eventually called.

Alexandru Cinca: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Boris Angelov: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

"Good luck," Cinca added as he got up to watch the dealer turn over the board. He couldn't hit the {2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, while the turn came the {k-Hearts}.

"Ah," Cinca said at the sight of a face card, but it wasn't the one he was looking for. The {2-Hearts} on the river sealed his elimination and Cinca wished the table luck before making his exit.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Zhugralin continued for 75,000. Uguccioni took his time before moving all in, and Zhugralin quickly called for his last 655,000.

Zhugralin had {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for top pair, but Uguccioni flopped two pair with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Zhugralin stood up from his seat as the {4-Diamonds} turn left him one card away from elimination, but he spiked the {a-Hearts} on the river to make trips and double up.
