Fedor Dedelov

Fedor Dedelov and Kristaps Vismanis were heads-up in a blind versus blind battle on the river with the board showing {9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and 40,000 in the pot.

Dedelov, in the small blind, led out for 23,000 before Vismanis raised to 70,000. Dedelov tanked for around a minute before calling.

Vismanis immediately tapped the felt and turned over {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a bluff. Dedelov had {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for trip aces to take the pot right before break.

Beg Slowly Reveals Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, Furkan Beg bet 10,000 before Alexandru Papazian raised to 30,000 in the cutoff.

Beg called as the {j-Clubs} fell on the river. Both players checked.

"Can you show first? Is that possible?" Beg asked. Papazian shook his head.

"Let's show one at a time," Beg added as both players put their cards face down in the middle. Beg showed first and turned over the {a-Clubs}.

Papazian immediately mucked both his cards. "Ace high good," Beg asked before also showing the {a-Hearts}.

"What can you have that didn't hit that board," Papazian responded.

Habib Goes From Chip Leader to Bust

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ali Moein
Ali Moein

Mounir Habib was the first player above 300,000 and the tournament chip leader earlier in the day, but he just found his tournament cut short at the hands of new top man Ali Moein.

Moein bet 12,000 from the hijack on a flop of {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and was called by Habib on the button and Terence Etim in the big blind.

The turn came the {j-Diamonds} and Moein slid forward a tower of chips, easily covering his remaining two opponents. Habib called off his last chips, while Etim folded.

Moein had {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, while Habib showed {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Moein's eights were enough to send Habib to the rail.

Julien Loire: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Rabih El Hachem: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Loire remained ahead on the {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{j-Spades} flop, but El Hachem connected with the {a-Diamonds} turn to take the lead. The river came the {9-Hearts} and Loire, who made the final table of the Warmup earlier in the festival, will have to fire another bullet if he wants another deep run.

The turn came the {j-Spades} and Kazantsev led out for 20,000. Gulseven quickly called as the {3-Hearts} fell on the river.

Kazantsev bet out again, this time for 115,000.

"I must call, my friend," Gulseven said before he committed his last 57,000. Kazantsev turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, but Gulseven had {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to double up.
