Aydemir Spikes the River to Send Out Kerim

Alper Kerim reraised to 28,000 in front of him before Davut Aydemir moved all in. Kerim snap-called for his last 90,000.

Kerim was racing for his tournament life as the flop came {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, giving him top pair and the lead. The {a-Spades} turn improved him to trips, but the {q-Hearts} river gave Aydemir a flush as Kerim quickly threw his chips in the middle and made a hasty exit from the tournament area.

Barut Gets A Fold

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Nikolay Fal opened to 16,000 from middle position and was called by Ozcan Barut out of the big blind.

The {k-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Spades} flop saw Barut check to Fal who continued for 13,000. Barut responded with a raise to 30,000 which Fal called.

Both players checked through the {q-Clubs} turn to the {7-Spades} river at which point Barut led into Fal for 50,000. The Russian thought long and hard about his decision but ultimately released his holding to send the pot over towards Barut.

Er Survives on a Flip

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Naji Tanuri three-bet to 18,000 from the cutoff over a raise by Natan Chauskin as action folded to Zorlu Er in the big blind, who moved all in for 136,000.

Chauskin reshoved when action got back to him and Tanuri tapped the felt and gave up his hand.

Tannouri "Hanging Around"

Heads-up on a flop of {k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, Issam Tannouri moved all in from the big blind for 82,000 and Can Miral, in middle position, tanked for a moment before calling.

Tannouri was beating Miral's pair of jacks with his kings as the board ran out {4-Spades}{6-Clubs} to secure his double up. Tannouri blew the pot a kiss as he collected the chips.

"Hanging around. Hanging around," tablemate Uri Reichenstein told him.

"I see king-eight of hearts. No see so good," Tannouri replied.

"Couldn't have worked out better," Reichenstein added.

Chilaud Forces Out Etim on the River

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Terence Etim put in a three-bet to 36,000 from the button and Maxime Chilaud called on his right.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{4-Spades} and Chilaud checked over to Etim, who continued for 20,000. Chilaud called and both players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn.

The river came the {q-Spades} and Chilaud led out for 100,000. Etim shot his opponent a quick glance before he tossed his cards into the muck.

Pak Shoves on Hu

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Valeriy Pak bet 18,000 from the button on a flop of {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and was called by David Hu in early position.

The turn came the {4-Hearts} and Pak bet another 30,000. Hu called again to the {7-Spades} river and checked over to Pak.

Pak this time moved all in for 86,000, and Hu gave it a few minutes of thought before mucking.

Kaukua Takes From Loire

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Julien Loire opened to 13,000 from middle position before Toni Kaukua three-bet to 40,000 one seat over. Action folded back around Loire who made the call to send the two players heads-up to the flop.

Loire checked to Kaukua on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Spades} and the Finnish pro continued for 25,000. After some thought Loire called.

The {a-Hearts} turn saw Loire check for a second time and then fold after Kaukua fired a second barrel of 75,000 to take a decent hit to his stack.

Losev Gets His Money in Good

Alexey Losev was all in for 185,000 from the button and up against Damir Zhugralin in the big blind.

Losev shot out of his seat and let out a loud cry of celebration upon seeing the river as he doubled up.

Stefanov Doubles, Takes Out Cohen

Tom Cohen moved all in for 60,000 and was called by an opponent to his immediate left. Milen Stefanov, next to act, reshoved for 106,000 and was called to create a three-way all in heading to the flop.
