Yurasov Folds River

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action folded around to the small blind who limped. Dmitry Yurasov then raised to 23,000 in the big blind and his opponent called.

The small blind checked following the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} flop and Yurasov continued for 12,000. His opponent made the call to send the two players to the turn.

Both players checked through the {10-Hearts} turn to the {k-Hearts} river at which point the small blind took over the betting lead, making it 30,000 to call. Yurasov took some time but did eventually muck his holding to take a relatively small hit to his stack.

Pavlov Shows State Kings

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Atanas Pavlov three-bet to 35,000 from the hijack before Adrian State made it 75,000 in early position. Pavlov then shoved all in for 278,000 and State quickly called.

Atanas Pavlov: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Adrian State: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

State had run right into Pavlov's kings and received no help on the {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} board.

"Nice hand," he said as he tapped the felt and handed over the double up to his opponent.

Damir Zhugralin
Damir Zhugralin

A massive pot of nearly 300,000 had already developed as Damir Zhugralin and Austin Subramaniam went to the river on a board of {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

Zhugralin, in the hijack, moved all in fo his last 250,000 as Subramaniam began tanking. Subramaniam spent several minutes counting out his remaining chips and the amount he would need to call.

He eventually put together a tower and slid it into the middle. Zhugralin turned over {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a straight.

Subramaniam sat stunned in his seat, his cards still in his hand, as the dealer began pushing the pot in Zhugralin's direction. Subramaniam tried to muck his cards but was informed he was forced to show, exposing his {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Daubaris Doubles Through Anton

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ionel Anton opened to 13,000 from middle position before Deividas Daubaris on the button moved his last 50,000 into the middle. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Anton who quickly called with the covering stack.

Deividas Daubaris: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Ionel Anton: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Daubaris had Anton dominated and was a healthy favourite to double. The {7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop kept him ahead with the {k-Hearts} turn ending matters prior to the {6-Clubs} river.

Wojtkowiak Falls Victim to Cruel Cooler

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Justus Held and Michal Wojtkowiak went heads-up to a flop of {10-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} when Wojtkowiak, in the hijack, got his last 97,000 in the middle and was up against Held in middle position.

Michal Wojtkowiak: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Justus Held: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Wojtkowiak had flopped top set, but Held had flopped the nut straight. Needing to fill up to stay alive, Wojtkowiak saw the {7-Diamonds} fall on the turn, then the {8-Diamonds} on the river as he was sent to the rail in cruel fashion.

Day 1 chip leader Roman Gadzhiev is also at this table but has seen his stack fall to around 300,000.
