Losev Hits the Flop to Send Out Kuliberda

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dawid Kuliberda was all in for his last 70,000 from the small blind and up against Alexey Losev in the hijack.

Dawid Kuliberda: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Alexey Losev: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Losev also made most of his remaining stack committed to the pot and was behind until the {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop gave him two pair. Kuliberda had a straight draw but improved no further on the {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} runout.

Losev slammed the table and shot up from his seat to celebrate while Kuliberda calmy wished his former tablemates luck before heading for the exit.

Set Provides Boost to Liperis

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Yiannis Liperis and David Hu were heads-up on the river with around 70,000 already in the pot and facing a board of {3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Liperis, in middle position, bet 64,000 as action went on Hu under the gun. Hu tanked for several moments before he counted out the chips to call and tossed them in the middle.

Liperis turned over {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the turned set and Hu mucked.

Loire Finds A Call

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Julien Loire opened to 8,000 from under the gun and was called by a player one seat over as well as both blinds.

The blinds checked to Loire following the {2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop and he continued for 10,000. That bet was met by calls from the player to his left and the big blind while the small blind got out of the way.

All three players checked through the {q-Clubs} turn to the {q-Diamonds} river at which point the big blind led out for 15,000. Loire thought for a moment before calling while the third player folded. The big blind turned over {4-}{2-} but it was no good as Loire held {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for the superior pair.

Hirs Won't Be Adding a Second Title

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Aliaksandr Hirs found himself down to just 16,000 and moved all in from the small blind after Paul Browne raised in early position. Browne put in the extra chip to call.

Aliaksandr Hirs: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Paul Browne: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Hirs found himself dominated and the {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop put him further behind as Browne made top pair. The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and Hirs, who won the High Roller event earlier in this series, was sent to the rail.

Trofimov Flops a Set to Double His Short Stack

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a flop of {j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Evren Coskun led out from the small blind for 17,000 and Dragos Trofimov called in the hijack.

The turn came the {10-Diamonds} and Coskun bet enough to put Trofimov all in. Trofimov snap-called for around 30,000 and showed {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} for the flopped set.

Coskun had {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for top pair, but needed to complete a straight on the river to bust his opponent. The river {8-Clubs} was no help and Trofimov doubled up.

Ace of Spades is Beautiful For Khneisser

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Picking up the action on a board of {3-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and already around 170,000 in the pot, Joseph Khneisser bet 100,000 from the button as action went on Justus Held in middle position.

Held began kneeling on his seat as he tanked for several minutes before the clock was called. He eventually grabbed the four white 25,000 chips he would need to call as the countdown entered the final 10 seconds, but he allowed it to hit zero and his hand was declared dead.

"The ace of spades on the end was beautiful," Khneisser said as he dragged in the big pot.

"No, it wasn't," Held responded.

"One of the best cards I can ask for," Khneisser added.

Daubaris Puts Anton To The Test

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Deividas Daubaris
Deividas Daubaris

Deividas Daubaris opened from under the gun and was called by a player in the cutoff. Ionel Anton then three-bet to 26,000 on the button and was met by quick folds from the blinds. Daubaris responded with a four-bet to 47,000, getting a fold from the cutoff but a call from Anton.

Daubaris continued for 30,000 following the {5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop and Anton, without much hesitation, called.

There was no slowing down for Daubaris on the {k-Diamonds} turn as he pushed 60,000 into the middle. Again, Anton just called.

The {6-Diamonds} river completed the board and, after a few moments, Daubaris annonced all in for 210,000. Anton appeared to have a big hand as he mulled over his decision, wondering aloud if Daubaris had turned ace-ten into a four-bet bluff or perhaps had made a set with queens. Eventually, he made what seemed liked a big fold to concede a large pot to Daubaris.
