First Time's the Charm For Deniz

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Mehmet Berk Deniz was all in for 965,000 from under the gun and up against Dmitry Gromov.

Mehmet Berk Deniz: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Dmitry Gromov: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Deniz had run right into Gromov's aces and was in danger of busting until the {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts} board gave him a straight on the river to survive.

"First time I've been all in this tournament," Deniz said as he doubled up.

Barsegian Doubles Thru Halfa, Drokin Finishes Him Off

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Eduard Barsegian was all in for 450,000 from the cutoff and up against Shalev Halfa in early position.

Eduard Barsegian: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Shalev Halfa: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Barsegian doubled up.

Left with around 400,000, Halfa was all in a few hands later, this time against Volodymyr Drokin.

Shalaev Halfa: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Volodymyr Drokin: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Halfa again had two eights but would have an equal amount of luck with them this time as the {5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop gave Drokin top pair. Drokin finished with a full house after the {k-Diamonds} turn and {q-Spades} river, sending Halfa to the payout desk.

Reichenstein Bets Big Against Tsoy

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Uri Reichenstein bet 250,000 and Oleg Tsoy used some of the new red 100,000 chips that were just introduced to call.

The turn came the {q-Diamonds} and Reichenstein slid forward two towers of white 25,000 chips, a bet totalling 1,000,000. Tsoy tanked for about two minutes before he mucked.

Schmitt Left With Nothing

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Walter Trecarrichi opened to 125,000 on the button before Tim Schmitt three-bet to 685,000 out of the big blind. Trecarrichi responded by moving all in and Schmitt called off with the effective stack.

Tim Schmitt: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Walter Trecarrichi: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Schmitt's prospects for remaining in the tournament were not looking good and only grew bleaker after the {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop and {7-Spades} turn. The {6-Diamonds} river confirmed the German's exit just a few hands after his tens could not hold up Kristaps Vismanis.

Halfa Flops Well To Survive

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Shalev Halfa moved all in for his last 300,000 from middle position and was called by Daniel Rezaei one seat over. The remaining players got out of the way and Halfa was officially at risk.

Shalev Halfa: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Daniel Rezaei: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

"Good luck" said Rezaei as the two prepared for the coinflip. The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} to pair up Halfa and propel him into the lead. The {7-Clubs} turn and {5-Diamonds} river changed nothing, ensuring Halfa's stay in the tournament.

Vismanis Survives on the River

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Kristaps Vismanis was first to act and moved all in for 480,000. Tim Schmitt asked for a count before he called and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Kristaps Vismanis: {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Tim Schmitt: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Vismanis was behind and at risk as the flop came {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}, giving him a straight draw. The {9-Clubs} on the turn was no help, but he spiked the {2-Spades} on the river to double up and gave off a big fist pump after surviving.

Vismanis Triples, Kaukua Busts to Trecarrichi

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Toni Kaukua moved all in for 520,000 from the button and was called by small blind Walter Trecarrichi. Kristaps Vismanis, in the big blind, also committed his last 150,000.

Kristaps Vismanis: {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Toni Kaukua: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Walter Trecarrichi: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Vismanis took the lead on the {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop with two pair, then filled up on the {10-Clubs} turn to seal his triple up. The river came the {7-Clubs} and Trecarrichi's eight-kicker played to win the side pot off Kaukua, who was sent to the rail.

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of {4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}, Tim Schmitt bet 210,000 from early position and Toni Kaukua called in the big blind.

The river came the {q-Diamonds} and Kaukua checked over to Schmitt, who counted out his stack before announcing he was all in for around 700,000. Kaukua quickly sent his cards into the muck.

Gavrilovich Busts To Sibgatova

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jenya Gavrilovich opened to 610,000 from middle position, leaving himself just 100,000 behind. Action folded to Alisa Sibgatova in the big blind who moved all in. Gavrilovich called off for his last few chips to put himself at risk.

Jenya Gavrilovich: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Alisa Sibgatova: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Gavrilovich was behind but not in terrible shape with two live cards and a nice drawing hand. The {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, however, left him needing running cards but it was not to be as the {4-Hearts} and {2-Clubs} completed the board to send a visibly frustrated Gavrilovich to the payout desk.
