Chilaud Takes a Big Chunk Off Aslan

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of {k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Maxime Chilaud bet 230,000 in the big blind and Kemal Aslan called on the button.

The river came the {10-Spades} and Chilaud assembled a bet of 590,000 and slid it into the middle. Aslan let out a deep sigh before he called.

Chilaud opened up {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for trip kings and Aslan shook his head before surrendering his cards and most of his stack,

Madanzhiev Forces Tsoy out

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Stoyan Madanzhiev opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and was called by Oleg Tsoy in the big blind.

Both players checked through the {8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop to the {6-Spades} turn at which point Tsoy took over the betting lead, tossing 50,000 into the middle. Madanzhiev responded by raising to 200,000 and, after some thought and a few card re-peeks, Tsoy folded to take a minor hit to his stack.

Kasar Resigned to His Fate Early

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Yuksel Savsa raised to 80,000 before Andrei Kaigorodtcev, in the cutoff, shoved all in for 900,000. Oguzhan Kasar in the big blind committed his last 300,000, while Savsa got out of the way.

Oguzhan Kasar: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Andrei Kaigorodtcev: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

"See you guys in the future," Kasar said before seeing the flop, already getting up from his seat and packing up his things. The {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades} board sealed his elimination as Kaigorodtcev took the pot.

Big Slick Better For Rezaei On Day 3

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On Day 2, Daniel Rezaei lost a 1,000,000 pot when his ace-king fell to his opponent's ace-queen. Today, the hand has been kinder to him. Rezaei opened to 80,000 from middle position and a player in the cutoff moved all in for 450,000. Action folded back around to Rezaei who quickly called with the covering stack.

Cutoff Player: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Daniel Rezaei: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Rezaei had his opponent dominated and pulled into an almost unassailable lead after the {7-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop. The {5-Clubs} turn confirmed there would be no sickness as his opponent stood up before the {a-Diamonds} river completed the board.

All Chips Heading to Magalashvili

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Michael Magalashvili's stack is serving as a black hole, sucking up all the chips that come near it. His latest victim was Dmitry Yurasov.

Magalashvili bet 125,000 from middle position on a flop of {7-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds} before Yurasov, on the button, raised to 325,000. Magalashvili shoved and Yurasov called for another 300,000.

Dmitry Yurasov: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Michael Magalashvili: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Magalashvili had top pair, while Yurasov had the nut flush draw. The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Magalashvili busted another player as he's now sitting on around 6,000,000.

"Good luck tomorrow," a tablemate joked with him following the hand.

Sinclair Getting Short

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jack Sinclair opened to 80,000 from under the gun and was called by Michael Magalashvili on the button.

Sinclair continued for 60,000 on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} with Magalashvili making the call.

The turn came {10-Spades} which did not slow down Sinclair who fired off 115,000. Again, Magalashvili called.

Sinclair did pump the brakes after the {k-Spades} river, checking to Magalashvili who bet enough to force the Brit all in. After some thought and with a grimace, Sinclair laid down his hand to stay in the tournament with a now short stack.

Tavdi Hits a One-Outer to Crack Silz's Aces

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Efraim Tavdi got his last 1,050,000 in the middle from middle position and was up against Maximilian Silz next to act.

Efraim Tavdi: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Maximilian Silz: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

"Five in the window, I'm telling you," Tavdi said heading to the flop, which came {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

"I'm telling you this is my tournament," Tavdi added as he hit a set on the flop. The board ran out {7-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Tavdi finished with a full house to earn the massive double up.

After the hand, Boris Smuskevicius admitted he folded a five, meaning Tavdi had hit the last one in the deck to stay alive.

"That's how good I'm running," Tavdi replied.

A hand after being left decimated by Efraim Tavdi, Kamil Sokol got his last chips in the middle and was up against Maximilian Silz and Mehmet Berk Deniz.

They both checked to the river on a board of {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades} when Deniz bet 125,000. Silz quickly folded and Deniz showed {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a straight, enough to take Sokol's remaining chips.

Tavdi Laughs It Up

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

A player opened to 80,000 from middle position before Kamil Sokol three-bet to 145,000 out of the small blind, leaving himself just 20,000 behind. Efraim Tavdi called in the big blind as did the middle position player to generate three-way action heading to the flop.

Action checked through the {10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop to the {a-Hearts} turn at which point all three players checked once more. The river came {7-} and, as on the previous two streets, both Sokol and Tavdi checked. The middle position player seemed poised to bet but, thinking better of it, checked back. Sokol turned over {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} while Tavdi tabled {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The middle position player mucked, causing Tavdi to descen into fits of laughter as he raked in the pot. The rest of the table did not appear amused.
