Patel Over 250,000; Davis Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jai Patel was getting a big double counted out holding {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} against the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} of Jason Davis.

The board read {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Patel doubled his 115,000 stack to around 250,000 in chips.

Davis was left with about 20 big blinds and shoved with them on the next hand with {a-Clubs}{7-Spades} only to lose out to the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} of an opponent on the {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} runout, missing his flush and straight draw to be eliminated.

Schneider Overtakes Davis

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jason Davis has lost a few chips both before and after the break, which has opened the door for the likes of Eduardo Schneider to move into the chip lead.

A player moved all in for around 50,000 from early position. One player tank-folded from the next position and Schneider called in middle position. The big blind also tank-folded and the cards were turned over.

Eduardo Schneider: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
All-in PLayer: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The board came {6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades} with the two player who tanked pre-flop both bemoaning having not called with king-queen and ace-queen respectively.

Schneider moves up to over 250,000 in chips as one table broke to bring the tournament down to two tables.
