The flop came {9-Hearts}

and Buchanan led out 4,500. Stein called and the {4-Hearts}

followed on the turn. Buchanan bet 11,100 this time and Stein called again. The {A-Diamonds}

hit the river and Buchanan checked. Stein bet 22,600, getting a fold from Buchanan.

Big Pot Pushed Stein's Way

Sam Stein raised to 4,600 on the button and Matt Glantz called from the big blind. The flop came down a monotone {A-Hearts}

. Glantz checked and Stein fired 5,300. Glantz took his time before responding with a raise to 17,300. Stein made the call.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs}

and Glantz was first up. He deliberated and then bet 28,600. Stein made the call.

The river completed the board with the {K-Spades}

. Glantz checked rather quickly and studied Stein as he tanked. Eventually, Stein fired 57,800. Glantz double checked his hole cards and counted out his stack and the chips to make the call. He then went back to his holecards and checked them a couple more times. Glantz threw up one of his hands and then pushed his cards towards the muck, not happy about the hand as Stein raked in the pot.

Aside from the Luis Vazquez elimination, this level has been pretty uneventful. A raise preflop has usually taken down the pot and the players have been keeping pots small when they do get to flops.

Shawn Buchanan raised on the button and was called by Faraz Jaka in the small blind and Luis "Bachy" Vazquez in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Clubs}

and Jaka checked. Bachy shoved for 25,700 and Buchanan folded. Jaka insta-called and the cards were revealed.

and Bachy picked up a flush draw. However, the river brought the {A-Spades}

and that was all for Bachy, out in 6th place. He wins $70,000 total after defeating his table for $50,000 and getting another $20,000 in bounties.
