Vanessa Selbst raised to 200,000 from the button, a story we've become used to. This time was different, though, and for only the second time in heads-up play, Dan Shak three-bet. He made it 600,000 straight, and Selbst folded without incident.

turn. When Shak checked again, Selbst bet 100,000, and Shak made the call. The river was the

Selbst called out, "Ace-high" with her ace-queen offsuit, and it was good enough to drag the pot.
Selbst has now crossed the 9-million-chip mark.
Vanessa Selbst made it 200,000 to play on the button, but Dan Shak re-raised to 600,000 from the big blind. Selbst came back over the with a four-bet to 1,300,000 with Shak quickly calling.
The flop fell

and Shak checked. Selbst bet 155,000, but Shak quickly popped it to 355,000. Selbst called, landing the 
on the turn. Shak put out a bet of 500,000. A call from Selbst delivered the 
river. Shak fired 800,000, which sent Selbst into the tank. About two minutes passed before Selbst re-raised all in for about 2.6 million total. Shak gave it up rather quickly and surrendered the pot.
Selbst upped her stack to 5,650,000 and now just slightly trails.
