Dan Shak opened to 200,000 from the small blind, and Tyler Kenney three-bet shoved his 1.625 million into the middle from the big. Shak made the quick call, and Kenney was at risk as the cards were turned up.

The news was not good for the at-risk Kenney as he was dominated and needing to catch a card to stay alive. The 
flop made things even worse for Kenney as his outs were reduced by one. The turn 
meant that he couldn't even double up now, drawing dead to a chop. He needed to find one of the non-heart queens to stay in contention, but the river was the 
. That completed Shak's flush, plenty good enough to snag the rest of Kenney's chips.
It was a fine run for the lesser-known Kenney brother, and he'll depart with a third-place paycheck worth $170,000.

Kenney has not been able to drag a pot in any of the first eight hands of this level. It's dropped his stack down to 1.485 million, while Selbst is back up to 2.9 flat.
Vanessa Selbst got a walk on the last hand, usually a good thing. Unless you have pocket queens as was apparently the case for the lady this time around.
