Junglen's Pair of Nines Best

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Adam Junglen raised preflop and Jerry Wong defended from the big blind to see the flop come down {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the turn brought the {K-Clubs}. Wong checked and Junglen bet 8,000. Wong made the call.

After the {3-Spades} fell on the river, both players checked. Neither player really wanted to show their hand, but eventually Junglen tabled the {9-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a pair of nines and won the hand.

O'Dwyer Shoves

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante
Steve O'Dwyer on Day 1
Steve O'Dwyer on Day 1

Action folded to Victor Ramdin in the small blind and he raised to 8,000. Steve O'Dwyer was in the big blind and reraised all in for about 50,000. Ramdin thought for a moment and then gave it up, allowing O'Dwyer to pick up the chips and move to over 60,000.

Ramdin Stumbles

The player in the cutoff opened to 8,500 and Victor Ramdin three-bet to 22,000 from the big blind. A call from the player in the cutoff seat delivered a {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop which Ramdin immediately checked. The bet was 35,000 from his opponent and Ramdin went deep into the tank for about four minutes before calling.

The {5-Clubs} turn and {4-Hearts} river were checked immediately and the cutoff seat announced, "Eight." Ramdin nodded that it was good and upon seeing his opponent show {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, he slid his hand to the muck.

Von Kriegenbergh KOs a Shorty

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 200 ante

In early position, James Carroll opened to 5,500, and Taylor von Kriegenbergh (who has been wearing his backpack on his shoulders all day, as if he's planning on running out the door at any moment) made the call a couple seats over. The action passed to the player in Seat 1, and he moved all in for 49,000, quickly folding Carroll. Just as quickly, though, von Kriegenbergh announced the call, turning up the sneaky {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}. The at-risk player shook his head as he tabled {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs}, and the {9-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {K-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {2-Spades} sends him to the door.

Von Kriegenbergh has moved up to about 190,000.

Schroer Ships a Double

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 200 ante
Jonathan Schroer
Jonathan Schroer

Jonathan Schroer got himself all in against Joe Gibbons before the flop, Schroer with the worst of it. Gibbons tabled the {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}, and the animated Schroer stood up and admitted, "I'm in real trouble here," as he pump-faked and then dropped his {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs} down onto the felt.

The {6-Hearts} {9-Spades} {8-Diamonds} flop was a good start for Schroer's bid for a come-from-behind double up, and the {A-Hearts} was a very pretty card. Now it was Gibbons needing to find a ten or a seven to come from behind himself, but the river {K-Hearts} was a blank.

The teacher from North Carolina, Schroer has doubled up, but he's still got some work to do with just over 60,000 chips now.

Geyer Five-Bet Shoves

Adam Geyer
Adam Geyer

Nick Binger raised to 6,000 from early position and was called by Aaron Overton on the button. Adam Geyer, in the small blind, three-bet to 21,200. Binger took about 90 seconds before four-betting to 45,500.

Overton immediately folded and action was back on Geyer. He tanked for about two minutes before he made the all-in motion with his hand.

"Wow," said a surprised Binger. After about two minutes, Binger gave it up and surrendered the pot to Geyer.
