Ludlow Continues the "Year of Ben"

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up on a board of J553, Ben Ludlow put Myles Mullaly all in from the small blind and Mullaly called for his last 20,000 from the button.

Ludlow had QQ, while Mullaly was on a flush draw with A10. The 7 river missed Mullaly and he was sent to the rail.

"Hey Tyler, what year is this," Ludlow yelled out to Tyler Patterson across the room.

"2024," Patterson replied.

"The year of Ben," Ludlow said.

"I feel like he's been setting that up for hours," a tablemate added.

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Quinn Lowry
Quinn Lowry

Quinn Lowry opened to 2,500 in early position and Terrence Reid called from the next seat before Matthew Olsen three-bet jammed a stack of 12,500 from the cutoff. Both opponents called to bring a groan from Olsen.

Lowry bet 6,000 on the flop of 856 and Reid called. Lowry then pushed out a stack of 50,000 on the A turn to put Reid in the tank. Reid eventually folded to hold onto his remaining 45,000.

Matthew Olsen: QQ All in
Quinn Lowry: 87

Olsen was in front with queens until the 4 landed on the river to give Lowry a straight.

"I thought someone hit the ace," Olsen said before leaving the table.
