David Docherty and Chinchillas Lope built a pot of more than 50,000 as they went heads-up to the turn with the board showing 8♥3♣2♠10♣.
Lope then moved all in from the cutoff. Docherty had more than 100,000 remaining and went deep into the tank.
"You know I never lie. Trying to make things interesting," Lope said. Docherty eventually decided to fold.
"Pick one," Lope said, but Docherty declined and Lope returned his cards face down. "I had a set," he said.
Fellow big stack Chris Shebat was just moved to Lope's direct left. Eric Molina, best known for his memorable clashes with Jamie Gold in the 2006 WSOP Main Event, is also at this table.
In a heads-up pot on a board of 5♠3♥2♠, Steven Saklad bet and Thomas Osmun raised all in before Saklad called with his stack of 58,000.
Steven Saklad: 2♦2♥
Thomas Osmun: 6♣5♣
Saklad's bottom set was crushed by the nut straight of his opponent, but the board ran out J♦4♦ to improve Saklad to a full house to double up and put a tough beat on Osmun.
A player in the small blind moved all in for around 25,000 and Stanley Lee put him at risk in the hijack.
All-In Player: J♥J♦
Stanley Lee: A♠K♠
Lee took the lead on the K♥10♣9♦ flop with a pair of kings, but his opponent spiked the J♣ on the turn to make a set. The river was the Q♠ and Lee improved to a straight to win the pot and send his opponent to the rail.
Michael Russell opened to 3,000 in middle position and Frank Lagodich three-bet to 8,000 from the next seat before Dessiree Bennett three-bet jammed a stack of 10,500 from the small blind. Both opponents called.
Russell and Lagodich checked down on the board of J♣6♣9♣2♥7♦ with Russell checking dark on the turn and river before showing K♣J♠ to win the pot and mark Bennett's elimination.
Eramis Gaddie, Nawaung Maran, and Drew McLaughlin went to the river on a board of A♣8♣2♣4♦A♥ where Maran bet 12,000 from under the gun. Gaddie then moved all in for 25,000 in early position and McLaughlin reshoved for 30,000 in the cutoff.
Maran tanked for a minute before tossing the A♠ into the muck, saying he had ace-queen.
"I flopped the nuts. I was slow playing it," Gaddie said as he turned over K♣J♣. McLaughlin had A♦J♦ and Gaddie tripled up.
"Once he showed the ace, I knew you had it," McLaughlin said to Gaddie after the hand.
