Rafael Ben-Yaish raised to 10,000 in early position and was called by Eric Ladny on the button. Then Lee Grant three-bet all in for 47,000, and Ben-Yaish four-bet all in for 104,000. Ladny folded to leave the players heads up, with Grant at risk.

The cutoff player was all in and at risk for his last 68,000 chips. Michael McNicholas had the cutoff player covered and nearly drawing-dead.

The dealer put out A♥Q♠7♠A♣6♠ and Johnson binked the two-outer on the river to stack his opponent and drag in the pot.
A player in early position opened to 12,000 and the hijack called. Aubrey Williams three-bet to 52,000 from the small blind and Richard Milo called in the big blind. The initial raiser and hijack both got out of the way.
Williams checked the 10♥A♠8♣ flop over to Milo who bet 25,000. After a couple minutes in the tank, Williams mucked. Milo took down nearly 100,000 chips in profit without having to see a turn or river.
The tournament director has announced that with 215 entrants, the field will play down to 27 players, who will all make the money and bag up for Day 2. There are currently 49 players remaining in the tournament.

Action folded to Kevin Roche on the button, and he raised to 7,000 on the button. Once the small blind folded, Luke Rothschild made the call in the big blind.
Both players checked the [6d10h7s flop.
After the 6♣ on the turn, Rothchild bet out 6,000, and Roche made the call.
The river was the 4♠ and Rothchild bet 12,000, before Roche raised him all in, for his last 20,000 chips. Rothschild did make the call and turned over 9♣7♦ for two pair sevens and sixes. But Roche had the best hand when tabled 9♦8♠ for a flopped straight, to take the pot and eliminate Rothschild.
Tony Sinishtaj opened to 6,000 from under the gun before Soheb Porbandarwala three-bet to 17,000 from the button. Sinishtaj made the call.
Both players checked the 9♦10♥8♥ flop before Sinishtaj bet 35,000 on the 5♣ turn. Porbandarwala moved all in for 155,000 and after a couple minutes in the tank, Sinishtaj tossed his cards into the mucks.
Action folded to Bin Weng on the button, and he raised to 6,000. The small blind folded, and Divyam Satyarthi defended the big blind.
The flop came 6♥9♦7♥ and Satyarthi checked to Weng, who bet to put Satyarthi all in for 37,500, and quickly made the call to put himself at risk.

Weng flopped an open ended straight draw, but Satyarthi had the best hand with his pair of nines. Once the board ran out 6♦ on the turn, and 7♦ on the river, the two pair nines and sevens were the best hand, to give Satyarthi the double up.
