Savage Gets Saved By the River

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action folded to Vincent Basilcata in middle position, and he raised to 1,200. After it folded to the small blind Terrence Savage, he three-bet to 3,300. Once the big blind folded, Basilcata made the call to see a flop.

Basilcata called a bet of 5,000 from Savage after the A58 flop.

The turn brought the A and Savage bet 11,000, before Basilcata raised all in, which was snap called by Savage.

Vincent Basilcata: AK All in
Terrence Savage: AQ

Both players turned trips, but Basilcata was in great shape to get a double up, having Savage out kicked, and having the bigger flush draw. But when the river came the 8 both players improved to a full house, aces full of eights to chop the pot, and save Savage from losing a big portion of his stack.

Modi Catches Opponent Speeding

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Middle position opened the action with a raise to 1,200. The hijack and cutoff both called and Parth Modi defended his big blind.

Action checked through on 622 before the hijack fired 1,400 on the Q turn, only Modi made the call.

The river 3 hit the felt and the hijack wagered 3,200. Modi gave it some thought but eventually stuck in a chip for a call. He turned over Q10 and it was good enough to drag in the pot.

Waybright Flops a Flush

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Joseph Weaver raised to 1,000 from early position, and was called by the button Jose Waybright, the small blind David Masana Trivino, and the big blind Christopher Schieler.

All four players checked after the J85 flop.

After the 10 on the river, it was checked to Weaver who bet out 1,500, before Waybright raised to 5,500. Masana Trivino folded, but Schieler made the call. Weaver got out of the way to leave the two players heads up.

Both players checked after the Q on the river. Schieler announced "Queen" indicating a queen high flush, but Waybright had the winner when he tabled K6 for a flopped king high flush.
