Weng Finally Has a Hand

Mathew Perez raised to 10,000 under the gun before Bin Weng three-bet to 38,000 in the small blind. Perez called and they saw a flop of 825.

Weng then bet 42,000 and Perez called. The turn was the K and Weng bet another 32,000. Perez folded this time.

"King saved you?" Weng asked as he showed QQ.

"The best hand you've had all tournament?" another tablemate asked Weng.

"Yesterday, in the first 30 minutes I have four aces. Then I didn't get a good hand the rest of the day," Weng replied.

Green Snaps Off Shorr for Half of the Pot

Richard Green and Shannon Shorr were heads-up in a pot with the board reading KQ86. Green checked in early position and Shorr counted out a bet of 42,000 on the button. Green called and the 4 landed on the river.

Green checked again and Shorr quickly slid out a bet of 115,000. Green snapped him off and Shorr flipped over AK for top pair. Green also tabled AK and was rewarded with half of the pot.

Lemarquand Runs Into a Monster

Erik Lemarquand raised to 13,000 on the button before Joshua Mammen three-bet to 32,000 in the small blind. Lemarquand then four-bet to 75,000, Mammen moved all in, and Lemarquand snap-called for 250,000.

Lemarquand showed down two queens, but Mammen had woken up with kings and was poised for the knockout as the flop came A72. Lemarquand couldn't improve on the 8 turn or 4 river, and Mammen took the big pot to send Lemarquand to the rail.

Akimov Gets After It

Baurzhan Akimov raised to 10,000 in early position and Jonathan Wang three-bet to 25,000 on his left. The action folded back to Akimov who stuck in a four-bet to 55,000. Wang just called and they headed to a flop of 853.

Akimov continued with a small bet of 12,000 and Wang stuck around for the 7 on the turn. Akimov now moved all in for 122,000 which forced Wang to use one of his time banks before folding.

Jeremy Ausmus raised to 10,000 under the gun, Dylan Linde three-bet to 28,000 in middle position, and Ausmus called.

The flop came Q22 and Linde continued for 17,000. Ausmus then raised to 50,000, and Linde called.

Ausmus slowed down and checked the 2 turn, and Linde checked back. Both players also checked down the 9 river and Linde showed AK. Ausmus tossed AJ into the muck, and Linde took the pot.

Cherish Andrews bet 6,000 from the hijack on a flop of QQ3 before Evan Sandberg raised to 20,000 in the big blind. Andrews called and the 6 fell on the turn.

Sandberg checked to Andrews, who bet 50,000. Sandberg called to see the 5 river and checked over to Andrews again, and this time she checked back.

Sandberg turned over Q9 for trips, and Andrews mucked.

Carl Shaw opened to 13,000 in early position and was called by Erik Lemarquand in the cutoff. Byung Shin moved all in for his last 32,000 in the small blind and Shaw reraised to 68,000 which forced out Lemarquand.

The king-high was in the lead for Shin which held up through the 863 flop. The 5 on the turn changed nothing but it was the 10 on the river that paired Shaw and eliminated Shin.
