Action folded to Gal Yifrach in the small blind who moved all in for 430,000, and Ekrem Bozkurt used a time bank before calling in the big blind.

Bozkurt remained in the lead with his ace and also picked up a flush draw on the 10♦3♥Q♣9♣ board going to the river, but Yifrach hit the K♦ to win the pot and double up.

"I'm not going anywhere, baby," Yifrach said.

Jen Shahade raised to 500,000 on the button, leaving 10,000 behind, and Michael Berk moved all in from the big blind. Shahade called for her last few chips.

The dealer, who also happened to be named Jennifer, paused the action to wait for a tournament official to give the signal to go ahead. "You're good, Jen," the official told her.

"I hope so," Shahade joked.

Shahade had Berk dominated and took an even bigger lead as the A♣J♣10♥ flop gave her top set. The rest of the board ran out 7♠2♠ and Shahade doubled up yet again.

Michael Berk opened to 80,000 from under the gun and Jesse Yaginuma three-bet to 700,000 on the button. Berk announced all in and Yaginuma called off the last of his 50,000 chips.

There was no sweat to be had as the flop of 10♠10♣6♥ gave Berk quads and Yaginuma was left drawing dead. The 2♣ and 9♦ completed the board as Yaginuma packed his bag and headed for the exit.

Abdullah Akbarpoor then raised to 80,000 under the gun and Shahade called in the big blind.

The flop came 8♣5♥4♣ and Shahade led out for 150,000. Akbarpoor then moved all in, and Shahade called for an additional 50,000.

Shahade found herself dominated and at risk as the A♥ fell on the turn, giving her some hope with a flush draw. The 10♥ river completed her flush, and Shahade doubled up.

Akbarpoor Gets Paid by Berk

Abdullah Akbarpoor raised to 60,000 on the button and Michael Berk called in the small blind.

Akbarpoor continued for 55,000 on the 9♦7♠2♥ flop and Berk raised to 170,000. Akbarpoor came back with a reraise to 400,000, and Berk called.

Both players checked the 4♠ turn. Berk also checked the 6♠ river, and Akbarpoor then bet 350,000. Berk ended up using a few time banks as he tanked for a minute until calling, and Akbarpoor pumped his fist and turned over 9♠7♥ for two pair to win the big pot.

Akimov Finds a Miracle on the River

Ekrem Bozkurt raised to 65,000 in the cutoff before Baurzhan Akimov three-bet to 210,000 in the small blind. Bozkurt then moved all in, and Akimov pretended to push his stack forward but ultimately mucked.

Bozkurt thought Akimov had called and went to turn over his cards before it was pointed out Akimov had folded. "I had King Kong," Bozkurt said.

"He decided to take it easy and only have kings this time," Richard Green added.

The next hand, Thomas Boivin raised to 60,000 in the hijack and Akimov shoved for 710,000 from the cutoff for real this time. Boivin snap-called once action got back to him.

Akiimov remained in the lead on the 2♦5♥9♦ flop, but Boivin hit the A♦ on the turn to make top pair. Akimov was left with just two outs to survive going to the river, and he found one of them on the 8♣ to make a set and double up.

"I don't know. I wasn't paying attention. What was the board? I had a ten," Green replied, and the table told him he would've made trips.

Boivin Can't Get Rid of Mugar

Richard Green raised to 50,000 under the gun and Peter Mugar called in middle position. Thomas Boivin also came along from the big blind, and they went three-handed to the 4♦4♣2♦ flop.

Green then bet 55,000 and Mugar called. Boivin raised to 230,000, Green folded, and Mugar called to the 5♣ turn.

Boivin bet another 540,000 and Mugar again called. Both players checked the 7♣ river, and Boivin showed K♦9♦ for a missed flush draw. Mugar turned over Q♥Q♠ as he took the big pot.

Boivin lost some more chips the next hand when he three-bet to 160,000 in the small blind after Gal Yifrach opened in the hijack. Yifrach then moved all in for 700,000, and Boivin snap-folded.
