Gal Yifrach was under the gun as the short stack and raised to 850,000, leaving just 15,000 chips behind. The action folded to Jen Shahade in the big blind who eyed up his stack before letting her hand go.
The blinds passed through Yifrach and then he moved all in again on the button. The blinds both folded and Yifrach threw his 9♠4♠ face up into the middle of the table.
Ekrem Bozkurt limped in from the small blind and Peter Mugar checked his option in the big blind. The flop came J♦5♦4♠ and Bozkurt check-called a bet of 80,000 from Mugar.
The turn was the 8♠ and Bozkurt checked again. Mugar put together a bet of 160,000 and Bozkurt check-raised to 550,000. Mugar gave it some thought but decided to send his cards into the muck.
Abdullah Akbarpoor raised to 175,000 in the hijack and Thomas Boivin called on the button.
The flop came K♠5♦3♥ and Akbarpoor bet 150,000. Boivin called to see the K♥ turn, where Akbarpoor bet another 450,000. Boivin again called.
Akbarpoor slowed down and checked the 7♣ river, and Boivin bet 750,000. Akbarpoor used a few time banks before sliding his cards into the muck, surrendering the pot to Boivin.
The action folded to Michael Berk on the button who made it 160,000 to go. Richard Green was one of the shorter stacks in the big blind and ripped all in for 1,390,000. Berk snap-called and the cards went on their backs.

It was a pure coin flip to decide things and the flop of K♠Q♣2♣ put Berk in the driver's seat with a pair of queens. Green was unable to catch up on the 4♦, J♦ runout and bowed out in eighth place.
Richard Green raised to 160,000 in the cutoff before Jen Shahade three-bet to 380,000 on the button. Green folded and Shahade took the pot.
Thomas Boivin then raised to 175,000 in early position and picked up calls from Gal Yifrach in the cutoff and Abdullah Akbarpoor in the big blind.
The flop came Q♠9♣5♠ and action checked to Yifrach who bet 275,000. Akbarpoor folded, but Boivin raised to 600,000. Yifrach then moved all in, and Boivin snap-called for 1,885,000.
