Green Fires Two Bullets at Mugar

Peter Mugar raised to 125,000 in early position and was called by Jen Shahade and Gal Yifrach in the blinds.

The flop came AA7 and Mugar bet 80,000. Only Yifrach called.

Both players checked the 6 turn, and Yifrach led out for 225,000 on the 3 river. Mugar folded and Yifrach took the pot.

Mugar then raised to 125,000 under the gun and Richard Green called in the cutoff, as did Ekrem Bozkurt in the big blind.

Action checked to Green on the KJ6 flop and he bet 160,000. Only Mugar called and the 8 fell on the turn.

Green then bet 380,000, and Mugar gave up his hand.

Berk Remains Active

Michael Berk raised to 120,000 from under the gun and was called by Abdullah Akbarpoor in the big blind. The flop came K96 and Akbarpoor check-called a bet of 125,000 from Berk.

The turn brought the 5 and both players checked to the 9 on the river. Two more checks and Akbarpoor turned over K6 for two pair to scoop the pot.

On the next hand, Peter Mugar raised to 140,000 on the button and Berk three-bet to 600,000 in the big blind. Mugar didn't waste much time before slinging his hand into the muck.

Akbarpoor Calls Down Yifrach With an Ace; Shahade Takes From Mugar

Abdullah Akbarpoor raised to 120,000 in middle position and Gal Yifrach called in the big blind.

Both players checked to the river on a board of 9QQ7J. Yifrach then bet 175,000, and Akbarpoor called with A8. Yifrach mucked.

Peter Mugar then raised to 140,000 under the gun and Jen Shahade called on the button.

Mugar checked the 5Q4 flop and Shahade bet 150,000. Mugar called and checked again on the 4 turn, and Shahade bet 300,000. Mugar again called.

Both players checked the A river and Mugar showed 88, but Shahade had Q10 for two pair to win the pot.

Yifrach Gets a Four-Bet Through

Michael Berk raised to 120,000 in middle position and Jen Shahade three-bet to 300,000 on the button. Gal Yifrach was waiting in the small blind and announced a four-bet to 700,000.

Berk instantly mucked his cards while Shahade readjusted her position at her seat. After deliberating for her entire 30 seconds, Shahade reluctantly slid her cards into the muck.

Boivin, Akbarpoor Exchange Pots; Shahade Commits Green

Thomas Boivin raised to 130,000 in early position and Abdullah Akbarpoor called in the big blind. Boivin continued for 90,000 on the J2K flop, and Akbarpoor snap-folded.

Akbarpoor then raised to 125,000 on the button and Boivin called in the big blind. The flop came A69 and Akbarpoor bet 70,000. Boivin called.

Akbarpoor bet another 225,000 on the 4 turn, and this time Boivin gave up his hand.

Richard Green then raised to 150,000 in the small blind as action went on Jen Shahade in the big blind. She used up a few time banks before sliding forward a tower of chips for a reraise, and Green quickly folded.

Mugar Blocks the River to No Avail

Richard Green raised to 120,000 in the hijack and Peter Mugar defended from the big blind. The flop came J107 and Mugar check-called a bet of 135,000 from Green.

The K rolled off on the turn and Mugar check-called another bet of 285,000 from Green. It was the 5 on the river and Mugar led out with a bet of 100,000. Green instantly looked him up and Mugar showed K9 for top pair. Green held KQ for the same pair with a better kicked to claim the pot.

"I don't know what I would have done if you shoved the river," Green said afterward.

Shahade Has the Goods Against Green

All three players checked the KQ5 flop. Green then led out for 200,000 on the 6 turn, and only Shahade called.

Green checked the 8 river, and Shahade bet 450,000. Green called, and Shahade showed 55 for a flopped set to win the pot.

Peter Mugar raised to 105,000 in the cutoff and Abdullah Akbarpoor three-bet to 350,000 on the button. Michael Berk stuck in a four-bet to 730,000 in the small blind which got Mugar to lay his hand down. Akbarpoor instantly moved all in for 2,040,000 and Berk snapped him off.

Berk had a firm grip on the hand but it slipped away on the flop of A96. The 4 and 5 runout left Akbarpoor celebrating after scoring a huge double up through the chip leader.

The flop came 996 and Green bet 60,000. Akbarpoor called and they both checked the 8 turn.

Akbarpoor then led out for 125,000 on the 4 river, and Green quickly folded.

Green raised to 100,000 again the next hand before Jen Shahade three-bet to 250,000 in middle position. Green called and they saw a flop of 953.

Shahade then continued for 300,000, and Green again gave up his hand.
