Heads-up to the turn on a board of A♦3♣K♠Q♦ where Thomas Alfred Mayer bet 15,000 from the blinds, and was met by a raise to around 40,000 from Hassan Nashar in the cutoff. Mayer didn't take long to toss in the call.
Mayer quickly checked the 9♣ river, causing Nashar to pick up an assortment of chips and push them across the betting line. The bet totalled 140,000, and this caused Mayer to go into the tank.
During Mayer's deliberations, Nashar offered his own time banks to Mayer in case he ran out of his own. After burning through three of his own, Mayer made the call.
Nashar asked Mayer what he had, and Mayer responded with two pair, after which Nasahr showed J♥10♦ for the nuts. Mayer mucked and Nasahr's stack moved up to around 400,000.
