Martirosian Decides Not to Unload the Clip

Artur Martirosian made it 9,000 from the cutoff before Natan Chauskin three-bet to 26,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, Martirosian four-bet to 65,000, which Chauskin called.

The dealer spread out a flop of 2♦9♥6♠, and Martirosian continued with a bet of 35,000. Chauskin thought briefly before making the call.

After using two time banks, Martirosian fired 70,000 when the J♣ came on the turn. Chauskin quickly called.

The 7♣ river checked through and Martirosian showed a bluff with Q♠10♣. Chauskin turned over 10♦9♦ for a pair of nines to win the pot.

Jamil Wakil made it 8,000 under the gun and only Leon Sturm called from the cutoff.

Wakil tossed out a bet of 6,500 on the 10♦K♣Q♥ flop, and Sturm put in the call.

Wakil bet again when he saw the 3♣ fall on the turn, this time for 18,000. Once again, Sturm called.

The 2♣ rolled off on the river and Wakil put Sturm all in for his last 25,000. Sturm instantly called, and Wakil turned over Kx10x for two pair. Sturm had that beat with Q♣9♣ for a backdoor flush.

In the 909th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Kyna England, and Mike Holtz wrap up coverage of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) by highlighting Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, who not only won the 2025 WSOP Main Event for $10 million but was also snap-inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. It was a historic summer for The Grinder, and the crew gave him his just deserts.

They then talk about Shaun Deeb winning the WSOP Player of the Year for a second time, numbers from the summer, and late bracelet winners, including Andrew Ostapchenko, Daniel Zack, and Chad Eveslage. They also share final results from this year's 25K Fantasy Draft as well as the PokerNews Podcast draft involving Christina Gollins and Joey Ingram.

Meanwhile, news out of Las Vegas indicates poker chips can no longer be redeemed across competing properties, and there's a great high hand promotion at the Planet Hollywood Poker Room that players should know about. Michael Mizrachi made it 6,000 from the cutoff with Elena Yasyuchenya calling on the button. Viacheslav Buldygin jammed from the small blind for 52,500, and Aram Oganyan cold-called out of the big blind. Mizrachi and Yasyuchenya folded, and the cards were turned over.

Buldygin was in rough shape with two nines against the queens of Oganyan. The runout of K♥4♦10♠3♥Q♠ was no help to Buldygin, and all of his chips were absorbed into Oganyan's stack.

Heads-up to the turn on a board of Q♠3♣9♥4♥, where Leonard Maue checked first from middle position. Jamil Wakil placed a bet of 22,000 out of the hijack, and was met by a jam for 61,000 by Maue. Wakil paused momentarily, then made the call to put Maue at risk.

Wakil just had ace-high and was drawing dead to the top two pair of Maue. A meaningless 5♣ rolled off on the river, and Maue earned the double-up.

Sheth Wins a Multi-Way Pot

Ravi Sheth made it 7,000 under the gun with Hassan Nashar calling from the hijack, Giorgiy Skhulukhiya calling from the button, the player in the small blind calling, and Andrey Pateychuk defending his big blind. It was almost a family pot, but Ren Lin chose to fold.

All five players checked the 7♦Q♠2♠ flop to see the K♣ hit the turn. After the blinds checked, Sheth bet 12,000, which only Skhulukhiya called.

The 9♠ rolled off on the river and Sheth put out a bet of 24,000. Skhulukhiya mulled it over for a while before eventually deciding to fold and surrender the pot to Sheth.
