Mizrachi Makes the Right Fold vs "Dafishh"

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

David Nicholson raised the button to 20,000 and Robert Mizrachi three-bet to 55,000 out of the small blind. Andre "Dafishh" cold-called from the big blind, and Nicholson folded.

Mizrachi and "Dafishh" checked the 472 flop to see the J appear on the turn. Mizrachi bet 55,000, which "Dafishh" called.

Mizrachi bet again when the K peeled off on the river, this time for 75,000. The moment Mizrachi's chips hit the felt, "Dafishh" jammed for Mizrachi's remaining 150,000. Mizrachi paused, at which point "Dafishh" said:

"Fold it man, live to fight another day,"

Mizrachi commented to "Dafishh" that he probably has king-jack, and then folded AxJx face-up. "Dafishh" was nice enough to show Mizrachi that he made the correct laydown as he tabled KJ for a rivered two pair.

Wakil Chips Up; Nashar Determined to Be Chip Leader

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jamil Wakil
Jamil Wakil

Hassan Nashar checked from the big blind on a flop of 9JJ, and Jamil Wakil fired out a bet of 20,000 from the button. Nashar opted to check-raise to 65,000, which Wakil called.

A 8 rolled off on the turn and Nashar continued his aggression from the flop by betting 90,000. Wakil took his time, but in the end, made the call to see a river.

Nashar immediately checked the 3 river. Wakil put together a bet of 165,000, which caused Nashar to fold instantly.

Nashat currently sits on around 1,300,000, and not long after the hand, he was informed that the chip leader from Day 1a made it through with around 1,400,000. Upon hearing this, Nashar responded by stating, "I'll either cross that or I'll lose everything!"

The Youngest Mizrachi Gets His Cowboys Cracked

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Paul Mizrachi
Paul Mizrachi

Paul Mizrachi jammed his last 40,000 into the middle from the hijack and was looked up by Pedro Ingles out of the big blind.

Paul Mizrachi: KK All in
Pedro Ingles: A10

Mizrachi was one of the shortest stacks left in the tournament and had found a great spot to get himself back up to over ten big blinds.

The 10Q6 flop gave Ingles a pair and a few more ways to win. He managed to take the lead on the 10 turn by improving to trips. Mizrachi couldn't find a king on the river as the 6 fell, improving Ingles to a boat. Ingles pulled in the pot and Mizrachi was out.

Woodall on the Wrong Side of a Cooler

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jordan Woodall
Jordan Woodall

Jordan Woodall and "Kenar" just got involved in a pot of roughly 750,000, with "Kenar" being the player at risk.

"Kenar": AA
Jordan Woodall: AK

Woodall was the wrong side of a cooler and needed a lot of help from the dealer to crack the aces of "Kenar".

The flop of 7J4 meant only running cards would end "Kenar's" night. A 8 on the turn gave Woodall a flush draw, but he missed it on the 8 river. Woodall was left with around 235,000, while "Kenar" was up to 760,000.

Robert Mizrachi
Robert Mizrachi

From the button, Robert Mizrachi raised to 16,000 before the big blind player three-bet to roughly 52,000. Mizrachi decided to stick around with a call.

The dealer burned a card and delivered the K105 flop, prompting a bet of 35,000 by the big blind. Mizrachi took no time at all to raise to 75,000. Mizrachi's opponent paused for a while, then made the call to see at least a turn card.

The action checked to Mizrachi on the 6 turn, and he tossed out a bet of 78,000. The big blind returned to his cards to the dealer, and Mizrachi won the pot.

Timothy Chung raised to 16,000 from the button, and Changyang Liu three-bet jammed for around 210,000 from the small blind. Chung called after the big blind folded.

Changyang Liu: 33 All in
Timothy Chung: AJ

Liu was in a race for his tournament life with a small pocket pair against the two overcards of Chung. A clean runout of 9486Q came out for Liu's pair of treys, and he doubled up through Chung.
