2025 Onyx Super High Roller Series
Stanislau Melhui opened to 150,000 from under the gun and Nick Schulman called in the big blind.
They went to a flop of J♥5♥Q♠, where Schulman check-called a bet of 150,000 from Melhui to see the 6♦ turn.
Both checked to see the 10♣ river, and when Schulman checked it over, Melhui bet 350,000. Schulman didn't think for too long before he let it go.
Joni Jouhkimainen was up and out of his seat, with his short stack heading over to Phil Ivey.
As it stands, there are 24 remaining with 7 invitees in the mix and 17 pro players. At the end of Level 12, there will be a full redraw where both invitees and pros join forces.
There were around 500,000 chips in the pot on a Q♠K♠3♠8♦ flop when Phil Ivey checked from the small blind and Maxi Lehmanski fired 300,000 from the big blind. Ivey called.
An A♦ dropped on the river and when Ivey checked again, Lehmanski bet 775,000. Ivey took some time to think about it and even burned through two time banks before he eventually laid it down.
With around 460,000 in the pot on a flop of 8♦2♦J♠, Danny Tang checked the small blind and Andriy Lyubovetskiy tapped the table from the big blind. Martin Dam was under the gun and potted it, which eventually got a fold out of Tang after a long tank. Lyubovetskiy then shoved 615,000, and Dam called.
Andriy Lyubovetskiy: 6♦4♦3♦2♣
Martin Dam: J♥10♠8♠5♥
Lyubovetskiy had decided to run his pair and flush draw, but would have been disappointed with the runout as neither the 7♥ turn or Q♥ river offered him any assistance as Dam took it down with two pair.
Level: 11
Blinds: 25,000/50,000
Ante: 50,000
Dirk Gerritse raised the button to 140,000 and Lautaro Guerra called out of the big blind.
Guerra elected to lead for 340,000 on the 7♣4♦9♣ flop, which Gerritse called to the 4♥ turn. Guerra shoved 365,000, and Gerritse quickly called.
Lautaro Guerra: K♠9♠6♣5♣
Dirk Gerritse: A♦A♣Q♥2♦
Guerra needed to find a nine, a club, or connect with his straight draw, which he did on the 3♦ river, earning him a double-up.
The pros outnumber the invitees by around 3 to 1, with Laszlo Bujtas and Martin Dam sitting at the top of the pack.
