Martirosian Doubles Through Bezhanyan

Level 23 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Aren Bezhanyan raised A5 on the button to 400,000 and Artur Martirosian defended K8 in the big blind.

On the 10K3 flop, Martirosian checked and Bezhanyan continued for 250,000. Martirosian then put in a raise to 900,000, which Bezhanyan called after some time.

A 2 hit the turn and Martirosian shoved his last 1,500,000, and Bezhanyan used some extra time before making the call.

An ace or a four on the river was enough to send Martirosian to the rail, but the Q rolled off, and he doubled up.

Artur Martirosian limped in on the button with 33 and "Kenar" completed the small blind holding 104. Fahredin Mustafov was in the big blind and made it 750,000 with A10, which Martirosian called. "Kenar" folded.

The flop came 5210 and Mustfov fired 600,000, which Martirosian called to see the Q fall on the turn. Mustafov then checked his pair of tens and Martirosian announced a bet of 1,000,000 before putting the chips in. Mustafov called.

An 8 fell on the river and both checked it down, and Mustafov took it down with his pair of tens.

Level 22 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Matthew Wantman

"Kenar" raised AK from early position to 320,000 and Fahredin Mustafov just called with KK from the hijack. Matthew Wantman was in the big blind and called with 65.

The flop came 6A6 and Wantman checked with his flopped trips, then "Kenar" bet 375,000. Mustafov called, then Wantman made it 900,000 to go. "Kenar" called, and Mustafov folded his kings.

A 9 hit the turn and Wantman, with 1,305,000 behind, shoved. "Kenar" took some time after the count was confirmed and then called.

Only an ace on the river would see Wantman eliminated, but the 4 completed the board, and the American player doubled up.

Vincent Huang
Vincent Huang

Artur Martirosian shoved from the small blind and Vincent Huang called in the big blind with a stack of 1,880,000.

Vincent Huang: KJ All in
Artur Martirosian: QJ

Huang was well ahead with a dominating hand, but the Q6A flop gave Martirosian a pair and a firm grip on the hand. There were still outs for Huang with a king or a ten, but there were none in sight on the 72 runout, which meant he was out in eighth.

Martirosian Gets a Bluff Through

Level 22 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

"Kenar" raised AA to 375,000 from early position and Artur Martirosian called in the big blind with 75.

The flop came 1095 and Martirosian check-called a bet of 375,000 from "Kenar" to see the 8 fall on the turn. With a pair and open-ended straight draw, Martirosian checked and "Kenar" knuckled back his aces.

A Q completed the board and Martirosian bet 1,300,000, leaving himself 1,015,000 behind. "Kenar" took a peek at Martirosian's stack and started thinking.

"I beat king-ten. Seven-eight I beat. King-queen I beat," he said to himself. After three time banks, "Kenar" folded his aces, and Martirosian got a bluff through.

Aren Bezhanyan

Aren Bezhanyan limped in from the small blind with Q2 and Matthew Wantman checked the big blind holding K4.

Bezhanayn bet 160,000 on the A68 flop, which Wantman called to the K turn, giving him a pair of kings. Bezhanyan fired again, this time for 280,000, and Wantman flicked in the call.

A 3 gave both players a flush on the river and Bezhanyan took some time before he bet 925,000. Wantman tossed in a chip to make the call, then mucked when he saw the bigger flush of Bezhanyan.

Artur Martirosian looked down at A10 in early position and raised to 320,000. "Kenar" called in the hijack with 76, and Aren Bezhanyan called with KJ from the big blind.

The flop came 35A, which checked to "Kenar" with his combo draw, who bet 325,000. Bezhanyan folded, and Martirosian called with his top pair. A K on the turn completed the flush of "Kenar" and when it checked to him, he bet 900,000.

Martirosian had 3,225,000 behind and didn't need too long to think before he just let it go.
