Kayhan Mokri Eliminated in 20th Place ($56,000)
Level 19
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
"Kenar" opened the cutoff to 175,000 and Leonard Maue three-bet to 640,000 out of the small blind. Kayhan Mokri was in the big blind and shoved for 1,600,000. which got "Kenar" to quickly fold. Mokri seemed pleased that Maue didn't snap call and celebrated a little, then Maue called.
Kayhan Mokri: A♠K♠
Leonard Maue: K♦Q♥
Mokri was mad at himself for celebrating too early, but he didn't have much to worry about on the 3♣8♦9♦ flop. A 9♠ on the turn left him one step closer to a double-up, but the Q♦ river ended his tournament in 20th.
"Yup," said Mokri. "I shouldn't have celebrated."
