Myrmo Won't Go Away Easily

Level 17 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress raised to 250,000 from the cutoff and Espen Myrmo defended his big blind.

Once Myrmo saw the 6K7 flop, he jammed for 550,000 and Dvoress called.

Espen Myrmo: A865 All in
Daniel Dvoress: KQQ10

If Dvoress won this hand, the tournament would move to the final table. However, after the J turn and 8 came out, Myrmo had improved to a straight, and the tournament remained with ten players.

Espen Myrmo: AQ97 All in
Raphael Schreiner: AAJ5

Myrmo was in rough shape against the aces of Schreiner, but he picked up some outs on the 736 flop by pairing his seven. A 7 on the turn improved Myrmo to trips, and the 10 completed the board, cementing the double-up for Myrmo.

Dvoress Eliminates Gryko; Schreiner Triples

Level 16 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Richard Gryko
Richard Gryko

Daniel Dvoress raied to 240,000 under the gun before Richard Gryko three-bet from the button to 960,000. Raphael Schreiner called for his last 300,000 or so from the big blind, and Dvoress also called.

With Schreiner all-in, the flop came down 10K3, and Gryko's remaining 800,000 went into the middle, with Dvoress calling to try and bust both players.

Richard Gryko: KK105 All in
Raphael Schreiner: AJ82 All in
Daniel Dvoress: AQJ8

Gryko currently had the nuts with top set, but he would have to fade a lot of cards on the turn and river to survive.

Dvoress improved to a straight when the 9 came down on the turn. A A completed the board, which meant Schreiner tripled up with a flush and Gryko was eliminated after losing the side pot to Dvoress' straight.
