Barakat Trying Cash the Main Event Twice

Level 6 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Youness Barakat
Youness Barakat

Youness Barakat has just taken his seat with a fresh starting stack of 250,000, which is fifty times more than he finished with at the end of Day 1a’s marathon fourteen-hour session.

Barakat survived the opening flight with just a single blue T-5,000 chip, and somehow did enough to reach the money and secure a spot on Day 2 of the Main Event, after Liviu Ignat busted on the bubble with aces.

After opting to forfeit that stack and collect a min cash, Barakat now has the opportunity to run up a healthy stack and play with some real room to manoeuvre on Day 2.
