Roiter's Jam Forces Sagstuen to Fold

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Sondre Sagstuen came in for a raise to roughly 20,000 from the hijack and Klemens Roiter three-bet the big blind to 63,000. Sagstuen called and the dealer spread out the 622 flop.

Roiter continued with a bet of 33,000, which Sagstuen quickly called.

A 5 arrived on the turn, causing Roiter to jam for about 146,000. Sagstuen had to use one of his time banks before he came to the decision to fold, and surrendered the pot to Roiter.

Zhou Spikes a Bigger Boat to Bust Wunscher

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Phillip Wunscher
Phillip Wunscher

After some betting and raising back and forth on the 776 flop, Phillip Wunscher and Quan Zhou got into a pot of around 500,000 with Wunscher being the play at risk.

Phillip Wunscher: 7654 All in
Quan Zhou: AKJ7

Wunscher had flopped a boat and just had to dodge an ace, king, or jack on the rest of the runout to double up to roughly half a million.

Wunscher was left drawing dead when the K hit the turn as Zhou improved to a larger full house. The 2 river was just a necessity, and Wunscher was the next casualty of the Main Event.

Sagstuen Rivers Broadway to Survive

Level 7 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Sondre Sagstuen raised to15,000 from middle position and Mads Amot three-bet to 52,500 from the hijack. Sagstuen called, and the two players saw the Q105 flop.

Sagstuen checked and Amot bet the pot. Sagstuen check-raised all in for 197,000, and Amot quickly called.

Sondre Sagstuen: AK74 All in
Mads Amot: AQ107

Amot was ahead with top two pair against the flush and straight draw of Sagstuen.

The rest of the board ran out 9J to give Sagstuen the winning hand with a Broadway straight, and he was able to double-up through Amot.

Action Flop Goes the Way of Guerra

Level 7 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Lautaro Guerra
Lautaro Guerra

Sergei Nesterenko raised to 12,500 from the hijack with Raphael Schreiner calling in the cutoff. Lautaro Guerra squeezed the pot to 57,500 on the button, and only Schreiner called.

Schreiner checked on the 547 flop, and Guerra bet the pot. Schreiner jammed for about 300,000, and Guerra called with a few more chips than Schreiner.

Raphael Schreiner: 8775 All in
Lautaro Guerra: A1099

What an action flop, as Schreiner held top set, plus a gutshot straight flush draw against the nut flush draw, and a higher straight draw of Guerra.

Guerra took the lead on the J turn by hitting the nut flush. Schreiner didn't improve on the 10 river, and he wished the table good luck as all of his chips were sent over to Guerra.
