Wunscher Starts His Spin Up

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Phillip Wunscher had lost a few big pots and was left with just 25,000. He ended up getting all-in preflop with Tom Vogelsang trying to finish him off from the blinds just before the dinner break.

Phillip Wunscher: K1076 All in
Tom Vogelsang: J533

Wunscher managed to end up with the best hand on the 472Q9 runout by improving to a flush.

Wunscher was up to around 50,000 and perhaps this was the start of his spin-up in the Main Event.

Khoueiry Makes the Right Hero Call

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Vincent Khoueiry
Vincent Khoueiry

On a completed board of A106105, Vincent Khoueiry was deep in the tank and burning through all of his time banks while standing up from the table.

Khoueiry had checked from the blinds and Luuk van den Belt had bet 190,000 from the button, for roughly the size of the pot. After around two minutes of tanking and having exhausted all of his time banks, Khoueiry slammed in the call for the majority of his stack.

Van den Belt turned over KQ108 for trip tens and lost the pot to Khoueiry's JJ102 for a backdoor flush.

Myrmo Scores the Double Knockout

Level 9 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Espen Myrmo
Espen Myrmo

On a flop of 4J3,and with about 150,000 in the pot, Basem Abudavas jammed from the small blind for just under pot. Lautaro Guerra moved in over the top from middle position, and Espen Myrmo called both all-ins with the covering stack from the button.

Basem Abudavas: AAQ3 All in
Lautaro Guerra: J987 All in
Espen Myrmo: K644

Myrmo was ahead with a set of fours, but a lot could change with two cards to come.

The 6 came on the turn and the A arrived on the river. Abudavas improved to a higher set, but it was still second best to Myrmo's nut flush.

Abudavas and Guerra headed to the rail, while Myrmo's stack grew to almost two million. Guerra has reentered and is sitting with a fresh starting stack of 250,000.

Quan Zhou

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 20,000 from the hijack with Quan Zhou calling on the button, and Aku Joentausta defending from the big blind.

All three checked the Q10Q flop to see a 4 roll out on the turn. After two more checks, Zhou bet 29,000, which only Bujtas called.

Check, check came after the 5 river and Bujtas showed J1097 or a pair of tens. Zhou tabled KK62 for a pair of kings and he was awarded the pot.

De Kroon Can't Bust "Dafishh"

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jelle de Kroon
Jelle de Kroon

On a flop of 73J, all of Dafishh's chips of roughly 80,000 got into the middle with Jelle de Kroon trying to win them.

Dafishh:QQ108 All in
Jelle de Kroon: J1095

Dafishh was already up and out of his seat, perhaps anticipating defeat. But the dealer had other ideas, putting out the K on the turn and the A to complete the board, giving Dafishh the nut straight.

Dafishh survived and doubled to around 200,000, while De Kroon still had approximately 350,000 remaining.
