Mehdi Chaoui: 8♦8♠
Markkos Ladev: 6♦6♣
Chaoui had Ladev dominated with his eights, and the board ran out K♣9♦10♣Q♠A♣ to earn him a double up.
"Tough to win with eights on that board," tablemate Klemens Roiter said to Chaoui after the hand.
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 120,000 under the gun and Justus Held defended from the big blind.
Held check-called a bet of 80,000 from Vaskaboinikau on the 7♠3♥9♣ flop.

A 10♠ fell on the river, and Held led out again, this time for 400,000. Vaskaboinikau, who had been acting very fast on every decision so far in the tournament, began a rare tank.
Vaskaboinikau used up around four of his time bank cards before reluctantly folding, and surrendering the pot to Held.

Alex Kulev: 8♠8♥
Artur Martirosian: K♦Q♥
Kulev was in a flip for his tournament life, and he managed to stay ahead on the 7♦9♠2♥ flop. But, the Q♠ dropped on the turn to give Martirosian top pair. A 6♥ completed the board and Kulev wished everyone good luck before heading to the rail.
