Iakobishvili Wins a Crucial Flip

Level 14 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Gha Iakobishvili
Gha Iakobishvili

From the hijack, Gha Iakobishvili raised to 160,000, and Klemens Roiter three-bet to around 615,000 from the big blind. Iakobishvili four-bet jammed for 2,430,000 and Roiter quickly called.

Gha Iakobishvili: JJ All in
Klemens Roiter: AQ

Roiter only had one big blind more than Iakobishvili, so this flip was pivotal to both players' future in the event.

Iakobishvili won the race with his pocket jacks as the board fell 928K4, and he doubled to over five million.

Matthias Lipp
Matthias Lipp

Matthias Lipp moved all in for 915,000 in the hijack and Klemens Roiter called in the cutoff.

Matthias Lipp: A7 All in
Klemens Roiter: AK

The Q1010 flop left open the possibility of a chop, but Roiter's king-kicker continued to play after the 6 turn and 9 river to earn him the knockout.

At another table, Justus Held moved all in for 1,630,000 in the big blind and Christopher Puetz put him at risk on the button.

Justus Held: A3 All in
Christopher Puetz: KQ

Held remained in the lead on the 1083 flop, but Puetz hit the K on the turn to make top pair. Held was already getting up from his seat preparing to make his exit until the A fell on the river to give him two pair and the double up.

Held Doubles Through Eychenne

Level 14 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Justus Held got his stack off around 650,000 in from the button and Thomas Eychenne made the call out of the big blind to try and bust him.

Justus Held: AQ All in
Thomas Eychenne: K10

Held was ahead with ace-high, although Eychenne had two live cards working for him.

Neither player improved on the J65J7 runout, and Held's ace-high earned him the much-needed double-up.

Roiter Doubles in Style

Level 14 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Klemens Roiter
Klemens Roiter

Klemens Roiter moved all in for 725,000 in the small blind and Jessica Teusl called in the big blind.

Klemens Roiter: J4 All in
Jessica Teusl: J10

The KQ8 flop had something for both players as Teusl picked up a straight draw, while Roiter had a flush draw. The A turn gave Teusl her straight, but Roiter hit his flush to secure the double up. The 10 completed the board on the river.

"Royal," Roiter said as he stopped to snap a photo of his Royal Flush.

"I called it on the turn," Justin Steinbrenner said to him.

"Thank you," Teusl added.

A few hands later at this table, Mehdi Chaoui shoved for 530,000 under the gun and Steinbrenner called in the big blind.

Mehdi Chaoui: A4 All in
Justin Steinbrenner: KJ

The A75 flop gave Chaoui top pair and the nut flush draw. The rest of the board came 82 and he also doubled up.

Eychenne Busts Vaskaboinikau & Eibinger

Level 14 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau

A three-way all-in just occured on Table #2, with Thomas Eychenne, who had just a few big blinds not long ago, having the chance to bust Mikalai Vaskaboinikau and Matthias Eibinger.

Matthias Eibinger: 96 All in
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: 44 All in
Thomas Eychenne: 88

Eibinger had less than a small blind, while Vaskaboinikau was all-in for stack of around 1,000,000.

The dealer spread out the 29K flop, giving Eibigner the best hand with a pair of nines. However, the 8 on the turn improved Eychenne to a set to lock up the pot, as the 10 river was just a necessity.

Eychenne's stack grew to around 3,000,000, and Eibinger and Vaskaboinikau headed to the rail.
