Sinan Unlu just fired his third bullet of the tournament and quickly opened to 80,000 on the button. Artur Martirosian then moved all in for 500,000 in the big blind, and Unlu called.
Artur Martirosian: A♠10♣
Sinan Unlu: K♥K♠
Martirosian had run into Unlu's kings, and the K♣6♣2♦ flop gave Unlu top set and a bigger lead in the pot. Martirosian picked up a straight draw on the Q♠ turn, but he missed the 8♦ river and was sent to the rail.
Gha iakobishvili and Ottomar Ladva also just took their seats.
Justin Steinbrenner raised to 80,000 under the gun and Matthias Lipp three-bet the small blind to 250,000. Jessica Teusl cold-called out of the big blind, and Steinbrenner folded.
The dealer fanned out the flop of 2♦5♠2♠ and Lipp continued for 125,000. Teusl stuck in the call.
A 4♠ arrived on the turn, causing Lipp to check. Teusl fired out for 400,000, which was enough to get Lipp to fold.
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 80,000 under the gun and was called by Danilo Velasevic and Markkos Ladev in the blinds.
The flop came 9♣5♠2♣ and Vaskaboinikau bet 150,000. Only Velasevic called to see the Q♣ turn.
Both players checked to the K♦ river, where Velasevic led out for 675,000. Vaskaboinikau snap-called, only for Velasevic to turn over A♣3♣ for the nut flush to win the big pot.
Day 2 of the $100,000 No Limit Holdem High Roller Championship gets underway this afternoon at 1 p.m. inside the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa, with 11 players returning from the 24 entries recorded so far at the 2026 Onyx High Roller Series presented by Onyx Club.
France’s Johan Guilbert will lead the field back into action after an impressive late arrival on Day 1 saw him bag the chip lead with 4,705,000. He is closely followed by Spain’s Adrian Mateos on 4,320,000, with Austria’s Thomas Muehlocker well positioned in third with 2,755,000..
Also returning to the baize today is bracelet winner and longtime high-stakes cash game and tournament regular Jean-Robert Bellande (2,020,000), who brings a wealth of experience to the table. Known more widely as “JRB,” Bellande has cashes on The Hendon Mob dating back to just after the turn of the century and, despite now focusing primarily on cash games, remains more than willing to battle with the super pros still in the field.
