Emilien Pitavy raised to 240,000 in the hijack before Markkos Ladev three-bet to 600,000 on the button. Pitavy then moved all in, and Ladev snap-called for 2,060,000.

Pitavy picked up some outs on the Q♥J♦8♣ flop with top pair, but Ladev found the last king in the deck on the K♠ turn to make top set. The river was the 8♥ and Ladev improved to a full house to secure the double up.

Pieter Aerts completed from the small blind and Artur Martirosian checked his option in the big blind.

Aerts bet the minimum of 120,000 on the 6♦4♠Q♣ flop and Martirosian stuck around with a call.

The J♠ turn and A♠ river were checked by both players, and Aerts took down the pot with K♥7♥ for king-high. Martirosian mucked an inferior king-high with K♣2♥.

Jean-Robert Bellande raised to 240,000 in the cutoff and Emilien Pitavy called in the big blind.

The flop came A♥10♥Q♠ and Bellande bet 175,000. Pitavy then raised to 920,000.

"Can't win with top pair. Deal me out if I can't win with top pair," Bellande said as he tossed the A♣ into the muck.

Bellande then raised to 250,000 the next hand and Biao Ding called in the big blind.

Bellande continued for 250,000 on the 9♠2♣A♣ flop and Ding called. Ding led out for 300,000 on the 9♥ turn, and Bellande called.

The river was the 10♥ and Ding checked to Bellande, who bet 325,000. Ding folded.

"Now we're playing the game, boys. You guys keep making these great laydowns, how am I supposed to win?" Bellande said to his tablemates.

Mateos Comes Out on Top After Tussle With Martirosian

Artur Martirosian raised to 240,000 with Q♠J♠ in the cutoff and only Adrian Mateos called from the big blind holding J♦10♣.

After Mateos checked the A♠7♦A♦ flop, Martirosian continued for 120,000 and was met by a check-raise to 330,000 from Mateos. Martirosian elected to call.

A 9♦ rolled off on the turn and after giving it a little bit of thought, Mateos shoved for 1,300,000. Martirosian snap-folded and Mateos was awarded the pot.

Markkos Ladev then reshoved, and Bellande quickly folded as Unlu told him he shouldn't have commented on his hand while action was still pending.
