Velasevic Busts First; Mateos Has Over Two Milly

Level 4 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Danilo Velasevic
Danilo Velasevic

Danilo Velasevic raised to 24,000 from the cutoff with Adrian Mateos calling on the button and Thomas Muehlocker defending his big blind.

The action checked to Mateos on the 7QJ flop and he bet 22,000. Muehlocker called before Velasevic check-raised to 100,000. Mateos called and Muehlocker folded.

Heads-up to the 10 turn, which saw Velasevic to check. Mateos bet 215,000 and after a brief pause, Velasevic called.

A final check came from Velasevic on the 2 river before Mateos jammed, covering Velasevic. The bet was for Velasevic's remaining 550,000 or so chips and after using a few of his time banks, Velasevic stuck in the call.

Mateos turned over Q10 for a turned two pair, which won him the pot as Velasevic had KQ for top pair.

Velasevic was the first to bust and Mateos was up to over two million.

Rezaei Puts in an Obvious Bluff

Level 4 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A small pot was developing between Mikita Badziakouski and Daniel Rezaei as they went heads-up to the river on a board of Q2A47 in a blind-versus-blind battle. Badziakouski then led out for 25,000.

Rezaei came back with a raise to 165,000. "So obvious," Badziakousi said as he shot out of his seat.

"Are you bluffing? Here I am value-betting and you're bluffing. I'm so sure I'm going to pay you," Badziakouski continued as he tanked for several minutes.

He ended up folding and Rezaei, bursting out laughing, turned over K6 for a bluff.

"How can you fold to Daniel? Have you ever played against him?" Matthias Eibinger added.

"It was so obvious he was bluffing," Badziakouski replied.

"Yes, and everybody knew it," Eibinger said.
