In another limped pot, Matthias Eibinger and Johan Guilbert checked to the turn on a board of Q♦J♣8♠6♥. Eibinger then led out for 1,200,000 with Q♥6♦ for two pair, and Guilbert called.
The river was the A♥ and Eibinger bet another 1,800,000. Guilbert folded J♥4♦.
The A♠ that was supposed to go to Johan Guilbert was exposed as Matthias Eibinger raised to 800,000 on the button. Guilbert then moved all in for 7,400,000 from the small blind with A♥J♣, and Eibinger folded J♥4♣.
"I would have aces. I swear, I would have aces. I don't have aces now, but I would have aces," Guilbert said as he flashed his ace.
"And you still go all in even though there's an ace exposed?" Eibinger replied.
The next hand, Joseph Oren limped in from the small blind, then called for 5,400,000 when Eibinger shoved from the big blind.
Joseph Oren: A♦10♦
Matthias Eibinger: 3♠3♣
"Matthias, for one time I am rooting for you because there is something called pay jump that I heard of. So for one time I am rooting for you. But I also like my friend Handz, so I don't know. Maybe I'm 60 percent for you, Matthias, and 40 percent for him," Guilbert said as the flop came Q♦6♦9♥, giving Oren a flush draw to go with his overcards.
Oren also picked up a straight draw on the 8♣ turn, but he missed the 6♣ river and Eibinger held on to send Oren to the rail in third place.
"I have 3.5 million, including the big blind. I know the Nash table, so pay attention," Johan Guilbert said to Matthias Eibinger as action went on Eibinger in the small blind. He shoved all in, and Guilbert called.
Johan Guilbert: K♣10♠
Matthias Eibinger: J♣5♠
"Don't worry. I know nothing about ICM. I think you, too. Only Matthias know," Guilbert said to Joseph Oren, who was only an interested bystander as the flop came A♥8♥6♥.
"I'll take a split. Put a random heart that's not a jack, five, king, or a ten," Guilbert said, but Eibinger hit the 5♦ on the turn to leave Guilbert a card from elimination. The river, though, brought the K♦ and Guilbert hit a pair to win the pot and double up.
Tom Vogelsang raised to 800,000 under the gun and Matthias Eibinger called in the big blind.
The flop came Q♦4♣2♠ and Vogelsang bet 600,000. Eibinger then raised to 2,100,000, and Vogelsang called.
Eibinger bet another 4,275,000 on the 4♦ turn, and Vogelsang again called. The river was the 6♠ and Eibinger moved all in.
Vogelsang let out a sigh and used up a time bank before calling for his last 8,150,000 with Q♣10♣ for two pair. Eibinger, though, had K♦4♥ for trips to win the massive pot and bust Vogelsang in fourth place.
Eibinger controls nearly 80 percent of the chips in play at the start of three-handed action.
Matthias Eibinger, who barely played a hand at the start of the final table, has switched gears since taking over the chip lead and has gotten involved in nearly every pot.
Eibinger limped in from the small blind with K♣10♥ and Tom Vogelsang checked his option. Eibinger bet 300,000 on the J♣5♣2♦ flop, and Vogelsang called.
Both players checked the K♥ turn before Eibinger bet 2,000,000 on the 4♥ river. Vogelsang folded A♥6♦.
Joseph Oren then raised to 600,000 under the gun, Eibinger three-bet to 1,500,000 on the button with A♥4♣, and Oren folded 5♥5♣.
