2026 Onyx High Roller Series
Players are going on a 15-minute break.
Action folded to Pieter Aerts who raised to 240,000 in the small blind, and Boris Kolev called in the big blind.
Aerts led out for 135,000 on the 7♣2♣7♦ flop, and Kolev called. The turn was the 10♦ and Aerts bet 400,000. Kolev folded this time.
Kirill Shcherbakov raised to 160,000 in the cutoff with Boris Kolev calling in the small blind, and the two players saw a monotone flop of 3♦10♦7♦ appear.
Kolev knuckled it over to Shcherbakov, and Shcherbakov bet 135,000. Kolev called, and a 7♥ landed on the turn, which both players checked.
A 2♦ came on the river to bring four diamonds on the board. Kolev checked for the last time, and Shcherbakov gathered together a bet of 575,000.
Kolev went into the tank, using up a few of time banks, all the while occasionally glancing over at Shcherbakov. After about two minutes, Kolev made the call.
Shcherbakov tabled a bluff with A♣9♣, and Kolev flipped over 6♣6♠ for just a pair of sixes.
The table was stunned to silence after seeing the call Kolev had made, and even poker Hall of Famer Patrik Antonius acknowledged Kolev's hero call with a nod of the head.
Ottomar Ladva limped in from the small blind before Matthias Lipp raised to 280,000 in the big blind. Ladva called, and they went heads-up to the 10♦J♦2♣ flop.
Ladva then led out for 80,000, and Lipp raised to 350,000. Ladva called.
Both players checked the 4♥ turn. Ladva led out again on the 9♠ river, this time making it 370,000, and Lipp used up a time bank before folding.
Kirill Shcherbakov made it 160,000 under the gun and Alexey Borovkov called on the button. Eyal Eshkar squeezed all in for roughly a 1,000,000 from the small blind, and Shcherbakov shoved over the top, forcing Borovkov out.
Eyal Eshkar: A♠J♣
Kirill Shcherbakov: A♦K♥
Eshkar was in rough shape with the inferior kicker and needed some help from the dealer to stay seated in the Main Event.
Shcherbakov's ace-king high remained best on the 8♥7♣9♦9♥4♥ runout, and Eshkar headed to the cashier's desk to collect his 13th-place payout.
Kirill Shcherbakov raised to 160,000 in the hijack and Alexey Borovkov called in the small blind. Daniil Kiselev then three-bet to 620,000 in the big blind, and Shcherbakov moved all in for 2,210,000.
Borovkov quickly folded, but Kiselev burned through multiple time banks before he also tossed his cards away.
The next hand at this table, Patrik Antonius raised to 160,000 under the gun and Pieter Aerts three-bet to 510,000 in the hijack. Antonius slid forward a tower of pink 100,000 chips for a four-bet to 2,000,000, and Aerts snap-folded.
Kirill Shcherbakov raised to 160,000 in the cutoff, and Boris Kolev defended from the big blind.
Kolev started with a check on the Q♠9♣3♣ flop, and Shcherbakov fired out for 115,000. Kolev called.
Check, check followed the 10♣ turn and the A♠ arrived on the river. Kolev bet the minimum of 80,000, which Shcherbakov quickly called.
Kolev showed a pair of queens with Qx2x, and was second best to the A♣9♦ for two pair of Shcherbakov.
From under the gun, Ottomar Ladva raised to 160,000, and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau was the only caller out of the big blind.
Vaskaboinikau check-called a bet of 110,000 from Ladva on the 5♥2♠A♦ flop.
The 8♠ on the turn checked through for the 4♥ to peel off on the river. Vaskaboinikau bet 450,000, which Ladva called.
Vaskaboinikau turned over A♣Q♥ for a pair of aces, and Ladva mucked.
